@TheMourningPalace some dynamic events may not happen everyday. some happen more often. plus they will spawn at different times. for instance a massive dragon might spawn on a server during non peak hours, so players will fail to defend. when it comes time for the marjority of players to log on they will log in to a world sprawling in the after effects of that failed event ie: towns over run with pirates, etc, etc.
if u kill a boss, the boss will probably spawn 10 minutes later. that can't have an impact on the game world since people kill bosses all the time ...
@TheMourningPalace The way it works is that If you fail a dynamic event then the merchant perhaps won't sell all the wares he usually does, or even entire towns could be destroyed. If you complete a dynamic event you get a reward, but in addition to that everyone in the area can benefit from that the merchant now has full stock, or the town is still there. Of cource, over time the event chain will come back to where the town either burns or not, but that may be hours or days later.
@TheMourningPalace: the boss will take longer then 10 mintes to respawn in some cases. Like the Shatter in the demo, may take all day to respawn, depending on the conditions of the game.
@TheMourningPalace its not only about respawning, but about the consequences when you fail or win. If you fail, your party will not only ressurect each other and try again. Instead, cities will burn down and it will take a long time to rebuild them etc etc

You know what I think that can happen! that the game creators forgot to finish the game and that they are playing the game full time:O!
That means we have to wait longer!!!!!!
