  • Stupid Pcos... ruined my life. I hate it.

  • I used to take Metformin for my pcos and it curbed my carb cravings, Do you use the same ingredients?

  • @elsmawi Metformin is a drug, it has no "ingredients" per se. It is just metformin; although each preparation of metformin may have binders of fillers, these are not active ingredidents. Chiral Balance D-chiro-inositol is just D-chiro-inositol, a natural human metabolite used during insulin signaling.

  • do i continue with DCI since i became pregnant while i was taking it?

  • @oceanlove999 DCI has never been evaluated for its use or safety during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Therefore the question of whether to use it during pregnancy is best made with your physician who can help weigh any pros and cons. Be aware that DCI helps insulin resistance and if you discontinue DCI, you will need a different strategy for managing insulin resistance during pregnancy. If you have any reservations whatsoever, it is best to err on the side of caution and discontinue DCI.

  • I was 13 when I found out that I had pcos and now two years later I have tries almost everything. How do I take your product, is it available in the uk and does it need a perscription?. Also can you take this if you are on metformin and use xyitol and are under 18? Thanks.

  • @animalfriend101 Our product is available in the UK, online at ecotherapies. It is a nutritional supplement, so a prescription is not required. You would definitely want to discuss combining DCI with metformin with the prescribing physician. Xylitol is not a concern. If you are under 18 you should definitely consult with your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before trying DCI.

  • Loved the animation as a visual learner and this really helps understand more about this complex disease. I was diagnosed w/ PCOS several yrs. ago but floundered with misinformation, etc. I'm finally doing something about it. A friend told me about DCI supplements...they're working great for her. I'm trying to juggle finances so I can purchase these. I've already started dealing w/ my diet..switching slowly to more raw food and eliminating gluten. Gluten is also a big factor in agitating PCOS.

  • I have PCOS, and have been taking DCI from Chiral Balance for a month now. A lot of my symptoms have improved, but the thing that has been the most life changing so far has been the loss of carb cravings. I went from having the most out of control high-sugar diet, to the healthiest diet of anyone I know, virtually overnight. My desire for sweet things just disappeared on it.

  • @TheRealCoppelia We're always glad to hear when our product has helped someone. Thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback.

  • I was just recently diagnosed with PCOS and I was so scared when my boyfriend/fiance told me what it was after him and my mother researched it while I was sleeping. When my mother told me to look it up MYSELF, being 17, I didn't understand a word that it meant. This video just helped me to realize what it is and how it works.. I guess now all I have to do is work out my curing plan... :/ :(

  • @BatMandie1993 This is only one model for PCOS. There are definitely other theories out there. And, since PCOS is affects so many women and affects them differently in some cases, it is likely that there are more than one etiology for PCOS. But, based on a lot of research, the model presented here does appear to be applicable to many women with PCOS, although not all of them.

  • Good video, thank you for posting. I been looking for a way to get my pcos under control. Right now I'm taking vitex and it's suppose to naturally get your homones back to normal but I don't know if it will actually work. My hubby and I are so ready to concieve and I don't ovulate with pcos.

  • Yea, Inositol powder and/or supplements do the same thing however one needs a larger dose of inositol to get the same results. D-chiro inositol is one of the best supplements for PCOS. I started taking it 3 weeks ago and have already noticed a positive response in my moods and sex drive. Its important to note, I am eating a Gluten Free diet and exercising as well. Controlling PCOS is a lifelong thing & it requires life changes. Can't wait to see what the next 3-4 weeks bring!

  • Inositol powder does the same thing, pcos is an endocrine disorder cause by endocrine disruptors(xenobiotoxins). detox your brain and body, drink clean water, stop eating foods with hormones in them, m2 tone and hypnoidd are amazing and natural, and take your amino acids.

  • Wow this video is a lie @ 1:50 myo-inositol does not increase testosterone it DECREASES testosterone. anyone who does a simple google search can find the truth!

  • @tnwar330 Chiral Balance is always eager to address issues of fact. And there is real biochemical evidence that a myo-inositol-phosphoglycan mediator of insulin signal transduction does stimulate testosterone production in the theca of the ovary. This is what the video says. The clinical observation that myo-inositol supplementation improves insulin sensitivity in some women with PCOS does not make anything in this video less true and only serves to illustrate the underlying complexity of PCOS.

  • Greetings

It is true that we can obtain D-Chiro-Inositol from Soy Lecithin granulate and/or Soy Lechitin supplements?. Thanks.

  • I took this product for a month, and I did order a second month’s supply. However, one of the capsules spilled out in one of my bottles, and now I am very skeptical of this product, wondering if it is just a sugar pill. It claims that it has no sugar in it, but it tastes exactly like pure sugar. Does anyone know what would account for the taste if there’s no sugar in it?

  • @binaural24

D-chiro-inositol is a carbohydrate. Like many carbohydrates, it tastes sweet naturally. The contents of each capsule are only D-chiro-inositol.

  • @ChiralBalance Awesome! thank you so much for clearing that up. I have been so excited about this product and using it daily, but got nervous when I noticed the sweet taste. I will continue to take it and see how things go!

  • If I do get pregnant should I stop taking this?

  • @sapphirestar9

D-chiro-inositol has never been evaluated in a clinical setting during pregnancy. Since it is a natural human metabolite, it is very unlikely that it could harm a developing baby. But, the lack of clinical data means we have to urge everyone to err on the side of caution. If you have any reservations or concerns at all about taking DCI while pregnant, do stop taking DCI when you become pregnant.

  • I bought this product 2 months ago. I was getting my period every 2 weeks and since I've been on DCI, I now get it once a month. So in my experiance its been working. I've lost alittle weight as well, not changing my diet at all. I was also nauseated all the time and now I've been nausea free for over a month. I thought about the cheaper alternative, however decided to stick with what was working for me. My only wish now is to get pregnant after trying for 20 years with no success. Hopefully

  • I am taking inositol powder. What is the difference between Inositol and DCI?

Is it just a sure way of you guys making money when we can just buy inositol powder which is about a 100th of the price of your product?

  • @LittleMissAdventia

Over the counter inositol is typically myo-inositol, pinitol or a mixture of the two. Both of these are already abundant in a typical diet being found in virtually all fruits and vegetables. As the video explains in some detail, myo-inositol has a different role to play during insulin signal transduction, and a functional deficiency in DCI has been hypothesized to lead to the symptoms of PCOS. And, a wealth of clinical trials support the efficacy of DCI.

  • Acutane has been taken off the market. Don't take it. It's side effects are NOT worth the risks.

  • Just ordered a bottle and I can't wait for it to arrive!

  • i take metformin, its a diabetes medication, and it helps a lot with the pain.

  • why can't they find a cure?

  • Interesting!

  • Please can you tell me if the fat distribution changes (Maculine fat Adipose distribution).

  • @cinamontaste The masculinized adipose distribution caused by high testosterone is typically lasting. Once the adipocytes (fat cells) are made by the body, they can be shrunk by weight loss, but can never be eliminate (short of surgical intervention). So, weight loss and lowering testosterone can help feminize one's adipose distribution, but it can never be completely reverted to what it would have been in the absence of high testosterone.

  • So this would cure acne that's cause by PCOS? I was thinking about trying Accutane, but I've found several reviews by women with PCOS that said it didn't work for them.

  • Not all women respond the same to D-chiro-inositol, but many do see improvement in acne.

  • @Awenasa2 I have PCOS and used acutane with no problem. It really depends from person to person and it's best to see a dermotologyst, because it actually has a high success rate. It's just that people only tend to talk about it when it doesn't work

  • Is this available in GNC? Is it apart of a "complex" such as B-12 Complex or it something that's taken by itself?

  • Chiral Balance D-chiro-inositol is only available in the US via the website. D-chiro-inositol is not found in any other supplements.

  • I am currently using DCI to help with my PCOS (although I am getting it from buckwheat farinetta). I am starting to keep a video journal type thing on how it is going for me so if anyone is curious feel free to check it out.

  • In the studies, results were seen after 6-8 weeks of uninterrupted use. Some people report immediate improvements in energy level and mood.

  • this is what made me buy it its my second day on it. how long do u have to be on it to see a difference?

  • HI .I was wondering if you have seem a difference after using D-chiro-inositol,for the three month now . I was wondering if it is worth to invest and buy some .thanks

  • is it working for you? how long have you been taking it NOW? and where did you buy it?
