  • Fuck, that's scary...

  • I had one of these in my kichen but it was not next ot the stove I don't know why

  • There was a fan like this in the bathroom in my kindergarten school. I was scared to death of it. Good times.

  • I was wondering if you knew where to buy the round metal screen/filters for the fan. I have one but have washed it out so many times that it is falling apart.

  • @cxbarber1 Google "nutone mesh filter" and you will find a whole selection of stores that carry them. They will run you about $10 plus shipping.

  • I just listed one of these vintage Nutone exhaust fans in my Etsy shop, Laura's Last Ditch.

  • Gives me wood!

  • very cool exhaust fan ! I had a house with a Blo-fan too, made by pryne, did your's have the veriable speed control on the wall, to adjust from low to super hi ?

  • The only reason I watched this was to try to rid my phobia but it didn't work lol

  • I have a major fan phobia..ha ha this video will seriously give me nightmares!! old vintage fans freak me right out and always have ever since I was a little girl!! i'm a weirdo I know

  • @SexyHolly6954 They have? Me too, they freak me out when i was little and to this day i can stand them..

  • Nutone was a top of the line exhaust fan. Nice vid.

  • I love those round Nutone fans!

  • me too

  • 1945 models didnt look like this, this was form the late 50s. most of these were installed after homes were built

  • i love these old nutones, i lvoed them as a kid, great machines

  • That is pronounced "New Tone". We have a smaller version in our kitchen in the range hood, ours is original to the house (built in 1957). Those are really good ventilator fans, much better than that pathetic "vent" built in to the microwave.

That Blo-Fan you describe was made by Pryne.

  • The fans in the microwave don't even exhaust the air, all they have is the filter thats imposible to clean. and if I turn the "vent" on wile there is steam the water drips from the filter. Even when the stove is clear across the room it moves all the air in the kitchen. Infact it's so powerful that when the air is nice and cool outside I can use it as a "hole kitchen fan" .
