Well, here is the Idea. The Movie and Series, the First one I should say are meant to be together as if an average anime block. The first series, the one split into 7 episodes was supposed to be one long movie, but it was easier to spread it apart like that. But I suppose people will consider it a movie for the duration length it was. So yeah why not?

Yeah, It is just the first series was meant to be a movie, and due to the duration length had to be split. To me, the show was a movie, because it was only 5 episodes and all the episodes connect into the story. Technically the 1st season is like a 2 hour movie. (5 episodes X 24 minutes per episode = 120 minutes=2 hours)
