@averyshmavery24 Nah, I live at home. It is a bunk bed though. I've had the same room since I was about 10... it hasn't really changed much. When I move out on my own, I'm going to have a pretty room!! =] I'll keep all my toys at home. haha.

foil works really well for the color, (you can even use gum wrapper and paper just gently scratch the foil off with your nails, then you have foil and paper, works well since its already colored ) Then coat the inside with a bit of glue and put it on where the outside of the rose will be :)

I use this all the time when I was still doing some magic tricks where I'll make a napkin rose and light it on fire then a real rose pops up... It never fails to amuse anyone even if you just hand them a napkin rose :) thanks for the video

Not really "practical crafting," but I would make these when I worked as a magician several years ago. I'd make one for a lady in the audience, make it float, and then turn it into a real rose in mid air. ;o)

By the way, they make two-tone napkins that work well for this, and I've also made a whole vase of flowers for someone with allergies once by twisting two colors of tissue paper together - one color for the flower and green for the stem.
