  • sooooooooooooo pretty & cute <3

  • You should keep a feeder just for the orioles! They love nectar, and will eagerly take sweet fruits too. I read in Birds And Blooms magazine (which is really good, btw!) that a lot of people put out grape jelly in an orange rind if they get orioles in their area.

  • Thanks for sharing. I wonder how many non-hummers can drink from a feeder...but that may depend on the type of feeder, as mine has smaller openings (Birdscapes brushed-metal with glass cylinder).

Glad to see that you don't use red dye...as it is unnecessary (and potentially harmful, if the human and mice studies are any indication).

  • so every bird has a sweet tooth ---hahaha

  • indeed, it is a Bullocks race..he is beautiful! I have yet to see one .I better get another Hummingbird feeder. :) Thanks for sharing

  • I just posted a video similar to this. I wish my bird would stay for more than a day. Only comes once a year.

  • looks like you got yourself a western Baltimore Oriole (Easterns have a full black head)

  • That is not a Baltimore, that my friend is a Bullock's

  • lucky

  • another great video 5/5

  • Bullocks!! Aren't they just gorgeous! We have had several including, Scotts, & Hooded orioles. We are old time birders & they are such fun for us to watch.
