Great book! Just finished it in class. Lenny was such a nice guy!. Its a shame Lenny was mentally disabled, but there was nothing he could do. In the end Lenny was a good guy and it wasn't his fault. Ending was really sad. But it had to come to Lenny some day. At least George made him happy in the end by saying all his wishes would come, and Lenny could finally rest in peace. Book made me cry and in the end George and Slim become good buddies.

I'm enjoying this book so far. It's a pretty sad story. What the Great Depression did to people was the kind of stuff in this book. Makes you think. Of course, most people my age think this is a load of shit, but I find it interesting. Good on Steinbeck.
