That question at 2:11, I this it's just to start trying coordination between toms and snare and then just hit the raid.

For egg: Like, if you are right handed, easy it becomes to perform.

Try 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4 ( 1 for floor tom,2 for snare, 3 for floor tom, 4 for raid)... right? your left hand keep working in the other tom.

If you take a look at the video, he don't do it that way. But I think it's easier... =)
