My neighbour's Chihuahua puppy did the same but the owners didn't know...sadly the pup fell between the cover and the edge of the pool, got caught up in the cover and drowned...don't encourage your pets to do this...better yet, make it so they can't access the pool area. Be warning, Cat do drink the pool by chemical. Because he can be sick by cancer lungs is risk. I had my cat was sick, since he love the pool and swim when kitten. He died in 6 yrs old. Vet investigate found his lung is damage. It's sad. Now, I tell you be warn your cat will sick by drink. Cat doesn't know how safe the water.
