No dub does not ruin anything.......I watch dub but I never bad talk sub as some people like dub and some people like sub. Why does it matter that people watch it dub?! Anyway anime is not real people so doesn't that mean all anime is kinda dubbed but by different people? I admit I watch Japanese films subbed as dubbed Japanese films look weird but I watch anime dubbed.

sometimes, things just get a completely different meaning in the dub, and sometimes, a bad dub can completely ruin a good show (for instance, nobody would ever want to watch the german version of Chuck).

Jokes get lost in translation, sometimes the people who dub decide to insert their own meaning and interpretation of dialogue into a show or episode. And the intended feel a voice is supposed to have can be overlook when dubbed. EX: you're supposed to have a voice actor who sounds creepy or has a deep voice to accentuate some aspect of them and the dub doesn't do that.
