Liberty: getting government out of our personal lives, Tax reform: no taxation on personal income, abolish the IRS. Smaller government: wasteful bureaucracy. Foreign Policy: stop propping up dictators, bribing regimes, policing the world, wasteful military bases, defending foreign countries that are not threatened by anyone. Abide by the constitution of the US.
It would have been wonderful (you did a good job with what you had) to hear someone answer "I am voting for Ron Paul because I want to see my son alive again", because for so many, it is as simple as that. In fact it was telling a grandiose lie about just that subject that got Obama elected. Sure, plenty fell for him on health-care "reform", but most Obama voters just wanted their fucking kids back. Now they want their kids back, and their votes as well. He stole both from them.
Compare this to Obama supporters who say nothing but "I like the idea of change, but I don't know his policies." or "he's black, I'm black, its about time!" or "I want a 'free' ride through life!".. Sad thing is, in America, the stupid greatly outnumber the educated. Ron Paul 2012! (Only problem I can see is that he has a pretty good chance of dying in office from old age.. At least he'd likely pick a decent Vice President too!)
I think it is because of the fact that people who are often more status quo types aren't really looking for specifics. They are looking for buzz words. People who vote for non status quo are often looking for something(s) more specific. Just my opinion, sorry 5 months late.
"I don't think that its surprising that a person who is supporting Ron Paul is able to make a video that reflects more favorably on his candidate." OK then answer the same question as pertaining to Obama. Any answer that you can give is that you want communism. any other answer would be dishonest or unintelligent.
Wow, what a difference between these answers and the Obama video. At least some people are intelligent enough to understand the issues and how the government should function.
I'm a Ron Paul supporter, but this is a one sided series. The first series went down the beach and interviewed random everyday people. This video appears to be taken at a meetup group where all the people interviewed were activists. Kinda apples to oranges. Granted, I think if you went to an obama rally, you'd get mostly the same responses as you did in the first interview, but scientifically, I have to call this a misleading/inaccurate excersize.
Hey, it's called editing. If you're making a video about a single candidate why would you keep the bits of people talking about other candidates. If you think activist make any kind of difference when it comes to substance check out the tea-baggers. Their activist and they're STILL STUPID.
Amazing. McCain supporters just mumble "the war" when asked what they like about him. Obama supporters don't even KNOW why they like him, and thus far it seems only Ron Paul supporters as a whole know their candidate inside and out.
Ambush interviews don't help Pauls cause, but its real simple for me! Paul is endorsed by Gun Owners of America (the patriotic replacement for the deceptive NRA) and wants to end the zionist war in Iraq. He isn't perfect but I think he will pave the way for real revolution in America by enforcing the border and making Mexcrement rethink their challenge to America.
The sanity of an idea is not based upon its actual sanity, but how common it is within a group. So if you've been fed whackjob ideas all your life then sane ideas like the one Paul espouses are going to seem crazy to you, no matter how logical and correct they actually are. It's going to take a while for the ideas he supports to really sink in and begin to make sense, unfortunately.
this is so inspirational. All the idiots on the other video may be the majority, but changes have always been brought by the minority. If we can bring these people together we can defeat this corrupt system!!
Great video! It's people like this that make me proud to still be an American. It's just a shame they are so few and far between. Check out google video and search for "SPIN". It's a great vid on how the media manipulates the brainwashed masses. Lots of behind the scenes conversations when they think the cameras are turned off.
Well you got to remeber the people actually running the show are not stupid. And they have one up on us because they know how to control stupid people. Ron Paul has giving us a group to work with. This is going to take some time.
You don't need the stupid people to vote for Ron Paul because Ron Paul becoming president isn't key. Him becoming president would be fabulous, but ultimately people like in this video taking over the Republican party need to run for Congress and the Senate because thats key. Also, him becoming president without a like minded majority in Congress or the Senate could be extraordianrily bad.
The reason it could be bad is that the Congress and Senate would block all his proposals. If this happens, then nothing will get done in Ron Paul's term resulting in him being blamed for all the problems. Potentially, it could prevent any individual who shares Ron Paul's views from becoming president again.
So, how many educated Ron Paul supporters plan on running for Congress or the Senate as a Republican? Thats what you guys should start thinking about. Thats a political movement.
Very VERY well-stated. Everyone needs to take heed to this advice. As for me, I'm a junior in college but a good part of me wants to run for something local soon after I'm done with school.
I agree, but it sure would make me feel good if we were sane enough as a people, to get a real hero in not some "false god".
The CFR/Trilatteral/Elite watch dogs are watching us closely, we have to get ahead of them. It's not an easy task. Have you heard of the Free State Project?
Yeah unfortunately so much couldn't be done because of the lame Congress, but at least he'd be there to veto all the garbage bills like Real ID that would be pumped through.
Make sure you know your idea well enough to not come off as crazy. And learn how to win arguments against people who call you crazy. The best way to win against those people are to make them actually make a specific point rather than a blanket statement. They never can.
Plus Voidka makes the best point. Watch your local and state elections. Your vote and opinion has much more meaning at that level. The hard part is validating that someone is who they say they are.

Deviant, made a video that reflects favorably on Obama, with supporters of his explaining why they support him beyond "Change we need."

I like the 'getting the troops back from other countries' policy, as well as the legalization of drugs policy.
oh, and the whole government not being a corrupt international corporation feeding the people propaganda would be a plus too.

It is ironic that these people were EVER referred to as Paultards.
People who support Ron Paul are the Intelligensia of this country.
They are the most eloquent - most informed - most hopeful.
Keep up with these videos!
