  • Met him 09 after a concert the nicest guy I've ever met takes his time with everyone .

  • I was a Police Officer for Providencer RI for 11 1/2 years. We took pride in the fact that such a talented man like him once wore the "Tin" on his chest. I also heard thar his real birthname is "Mahony", but he changed it to "Money" to give it more "flash"....

Nice to have heard from you

    Respectfully,

    Frank T. DeAngeli$

  • Eddie was awesome. Where did he go?

  • YEAH PEACE, IT IS A GOOD THING ED are you coming to visit the northeast this year? Cool Cat Matt

  • I've always loved Eddie, but when I heard this song it immediately became my favorite of his.

  • be seein the man tonite, Jannus Live (formerly known as Jannus Landing. St Petersburg, Fl. awesome place to see anybody, intimate!

seen him at least 25 times, will see him every time he's around, thankfully, he seems be in this area a lot!

  • Great singer (HIGHLY UNDER RATED SINGER). Hw was a Chicago Police Officer "Mahony"..

  • @gothembadboy1 Why does everyone know that? I heard that too but idk where.

  • i won't lie this song is fucking incredible pardon my french but jesus turned water into wine Amen

  • i won't lie this song is fucking incredible

  • One of Eddie's GREATEST TUNE KEEP ON ROCKIN ED

  • Man this guy had some hair back in the day, didn't he.

  • Eddie hit #11 in Billboard, 2-10-90. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great weekend!

  • eddie money rocks like a lot of 80s music

uhhh some of the music made to\day is either vulgar or mindless

  • This song always reminds me of when the Berlin Wall came down, the unbridled joy the Germans felt at being reunited with kinsmen so long seperated by concrete barbed wire and guns. Such a beautiful uplifting song.

  • Great song..I have it and again, the 1980s were the best thanks to Reagan, this type of music, business, and one hell of a group of young people! WE are America now. WE rule in our 40s and 50s!

  • @Marksnotebook reagan is my fav president other than Lincoln (the first Republican)

  • @Marksnotebook Oh, yes, it MUST have been Reagan that made the 80s "the best". It was either him, or Sylvester Stallone; I'm not sure which.

  • I luv<3 Eddie Money....awesome ,SONG...!!

  • Not i will not subs to you because U made a mess with this wonderful song ,,imploring everyone like a little child and i think you grew up long time ago,,,LOL!!

  • Eddie Money is the bomb, grew up with his music, and also the guitarist is one of my personal friends grew up with him in Temple City Calif...

  • This song lifts me up when I'm feeling down. During tough times like these, you got to have faith as well hope and most important of all LOVE! Nobody sings this better than the Money Man.

  • @allsportsbandfan

i think i first heard this around xmas 1989. it's still a great song to hear around xmas. i had faith back when this song was out but now i think it is much more important to spread truth regardless (even if it is ugly) than to simply have "faith"

  • This song has strength and soul! Few if any songs are as good.

  • whoever disliked this: i am angry, it is such a great song

  • Great Rock Track from Eddie. Definitely a classic!

  • How is this song associated w/Christmas? No mention of it in any way, shape or form. Yet it's played only once a year. Has nothing to do with Christmas.

  • Big MONEY!.. -Never gonna break down MY walls, just to build a Prison with the stones- .....ManO'Man Eddie had a way with words! KING of the 80's!

  • Great song. What is Eddie doing these days? I guess I can wiki him. He's still alive isn't he? It's sad when guys like this were big in their day but when they get older, people point out all of the negative crap like him being a Coke-Head.

  • Thank You sooo much!!! My favorite Eddie Money song...AWESOME and yes...I subscribed. :-)

  • Big fan of this song.......first heard it sung by Jennifer Holiday from the 1988 Olympics soundtrack......but Eddie took it to a different level and rocked it.

Never get tired of hearing it.

  • @mdad40 i never realised it was a cover? i'm gonna check this info straight away thanks :)

  • @miketheblueeagle ...........no problem and as a matter of factual trivia, you'll also find that two other songs straight from the soundtrack made it into the top 40: One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston and Indestructible by The Four Tops.

  • @mdad40 thanks for letting me know :)

  • Hit #2 rock, #11 pop, #34 AC in Billboard. God bless!

  • What an amazing song

  • this was when Eddie transitioned into bein' more of an Adult Contemporary singer. He needs to get back to rock. Who cares if he's 60 already! God bless!

  • @DaveWollenberg

Eddie is one of the rare talents that can cross over into any genre, and still be a mega-star.

  • @americasfirstfreedom To americafirstfreedom:The world has been going down hill for so long no one even notices anymore where it is headed.
