  • Switch NTSC to PAL to listen better the songs.

  • one punch and one kick button

  • Hello! My name is Josue Israel Leyva Archundia and I say the next: this music from Ryu is exellent for me, Why? because I had this cartridge it was wonderful, maybe is one bad copy but in my opinio only this music is beautiful, thanks for all. P.S: Who is the best, this st III or the real st III?

  • incredible...I have this game for my Nes Compatible system, called Family Game...I brought this cart in 1992,I know that 's a Street Fighter 2 not licensed porting, but his name is Super Fighter 3,with the same font of the original Street Fighter 2...I remember that was very difficult to perform Firabells and Hadoukens ,because the d-pad was very very cheaply...however...a funny game,as the original!!!

  • @TheZetaluca

Yep, that's what mine is called 'Super Fighter 3' but I always thought the font more closely resembled Super Street Fighter II

  • when i was a kid in 93, i bought this cart because it was the only port that have got Ken in character selection. When i saw a Blacked hair dressed in Red suit, was very dissapointeed. It was so difficutl to make blond hair to a fucking fighter??

  • @preachermatzi

    Yeah, I know - really.

  • I really wish this was real

  • @DocterEggman

    /watch?v=97uaJrUmzho

an official port for the master system (Brazil only)

  • Wow.

  • haha.. i actually bought this just because guile's sonic boom looked so damn good for an 8-bit game!

  • @shoux

And so does his hair! :D

  • where can i get this game?

  • wow...would be nice if they could have the character voices too

  • @SB80100

Yeah, at least the announcer ones!

  • @SB80100

the master system one does :)

  • The only big drawback is the music :(. If they could port SF2 themes to the NES, that would be awesome.

  • I have the game and i luv the nes!

  • Sega Master version is best

  • JAJAJAJA They looks like kid fighting.

  • Hell, I'd have bought this for the NES even if there were only 4 or 5 characters o_O.

  • This was a nice try.

  • @MasterMacLeod It's a real ROM. I played it on Fceux. Stop writing wrong things online and do your research.

  • @MrSaturn33 I'm not saying it wasn't a real ROM, I'm saying it was a nice try trying to port SFII to NES. I hope you know this is not Capcom's, right?

  • I think I play this one when I was a kid I think it were call street fighter 6

  • ARGH! good lord, the music! its just horrendous!

  • ¡hola a todos! mi nombre es Josue Israel Leyva Archundia y les digo que esta cancion me gusta mucho ya que me recuerda cuando tenia 12 años y vei saint seiya y luego jugaba esto gracias por subirla.

  • yeah street fighter 1 was just ryu and ken as playable characters,

this is a cool video though

  • Fucking NES with its dissapearing things XD

    Love the NES!!1!

  • did you know where i can find this emulator & games ?

  • sick

  • Midget fighter II looks pretty good considering :p

  • music totally awesomeeee

  • That's street fighter 2.

  • Oops - my bad. I Forgot there was a Street Fighter I.

  • ey there was a strange character in this street fighter i remember...it was a boy remember that?

  • @UANMA123

This one just has the 9 fighters: Ryu, Ken, Blanka, Chun-li, Guile, Vega (Balrog in Europe), Sagat, & M. Bison (Vega)

  • The better NES "port" of SF ever! I had much fun playing it back in the day. No other pirate could compete with this. To my knowledge, the pirate softhouse (a mistery) developed a special kind of board for this game, with more memory or so. Awesome!

    NES FOREVER!

  • lol...I would expect to see this on a fake mirror of a PSP with a bunchy of other fake games! yes I got one for my b-day unfortunately...they thought they could fool me!

  • Were they throwing fruit at each other?! Im sure Ryu was throwing apples and Guile preferred bananas.....

  • This almost look like it's official, but it's not. Great game though, I had the cartridge, spent so many hours at it

  • I had this game on famicom was red cart usualy they are yelow asome gameplay

  • What is the rom name for this version?

  • I don't know - but my copy of the game says "Super Fighter III" you might want to look for that.

  • @Metalzoner There are two names for this ROM: Street Fighter II Pro and Street Fighter III. There is also another Street Fighter II on NES, called Street Fighter II (YOKO)

  • @MrSaturn33

Street Fighter II Pro is another game, though, right? Made by Cony - I think. And I've seen the Yoko version(s) - they're the most common.

It'd be nice to get a documentation of all the Street Fighter variants for NES. Maybe I'll start working on that? :/

  • @Metalzoner No, I have both ROMS. Same game, different title screen. I just don't know why. Yoko is a completely different port of SF2 though. As far as I know there's 3 and 2 pro, the same game, and Yoko. No other really well known ports are known, except if you count Kart Fighter.

  • @MrSaturn33

I know Cony made other Fighters - like Fatal Fury & World Heroes :p

It looks like Yoko may have also made Street Fighter 4, which can be seen in the side bar.

  • the music , the game so fucking awsome

  • Was single cartridge on fanicom red color

a friend stole it from me .Nice game

  • looks slugish , but fun¡

  • Wow, actually looks great for an nes game at the time

  • If they released this for the Spectrum then why not just make a NES version? Jesus it even came out on Gameboy!

  • if it really came for the nes, it would probably look like the game boy version, just in colour

I think they didn't make it because nintendo didn't want them to (to boost snes sales)

  • I think it didn't come out for NES because it was in the early '90s & people didn't care too much for it.

The Gameboy had the portability factor on its side.

  • yeah that too

  • but you gotta say they could make a nes version, since it came even on the c-64 and zx spectrum

  • wow... cool

  • Where can we get the rom for this one ?

  • dgemu

  • Try the Internet

  • Capcom should have released the GB version on the NES.

  • Capcom should have done lots of things.

  • Okay, Famicom - ooh! :O Big diff! It can still play on NES.

  • What are you talking about? ~_-

  • Its not fake! Its an unofficial pirate NES port. It was never released outside of Japan because it was an illegal version of the game not made by Capcom.

  • @dmh79 (probably) Maybe it wasn't even released in Japan either, but in other Asian countries like China...

  • @dmh79 no, this is official Street Fighter 2 for NES

  • @Checkingokop No, it's not official. Capcom never made an official Street Fighter 2 for the NES, Famicom, or even Famicom Disk System. That's a fact.

  • @Checkingokop Sorry, but you're just wrong. There was never an official release of Street Fighter for the NES.

  • @dmh79 awesome, where can i get this game?..8 bits pushed to the limit..!!!..it looks good..it would never work on atari..lol

  • @dmh79

Actually, it was released in the U.S. after Capcom appropriated the port.

  • @AnimayeIsGaye No it wasn't. There isn't a single reference to an official release anywhere on the internet. Not even a picture of the packaging. If this WAS released on the NES officially then don't you think it would have become a collectors item by now?

  • @dmh79

I remember it being sold for $29.95 back in 93 or 94 at Electronics Boutique. And just because you can't find a picture of it on the internet doesn't mean that it didn't exist. By extension, you might as well say that anything that doesn't have a link on the internet doesn't really exist or vice versa. I've seen the advertisement and the game in the store back in the day and I've seen Bigfoot on the internet.

  • @reivenlocke A picture of a game released by major publisher on the (at the time) world's most popular games console is not an unreasonable thing to expect to find on the internet. Hell, I can find you articles about and pictures of games that were NEVER RELEASED, but not a single mention of an official Capcom release of Street Fighter 2 on the NES.

Maybe you're getting confused with the Sega Master System version? An official port of that was released in Brazil by TecToy.

  • It was a fake and was pretty disappointing, I owned for my famicon, then i get the super nes non-fake version, that was pretty good.

  • 0:55

i love how the wind suddently starts blowing!!!

  • jajaj, yo tuve ese juego hace aaaññññoooosssss

    que recuerdos

  • lol look how big the stage is, its just like sf4

  • Oh dear.... what a load of shit!!!!!

  • hahahaahahha

I had this game, I remember loving it even though 8 bit joystick pretty much sucked when you tried to make a super power. The response was horrible. But this game rocked anyway

  • how do these games get made, they cant be legit, mortal kombat has the same kinda thing saying it was for nes at one time when it wasnt

  • They got released in Brazil I think. Obviously piracy runs rampant in poorer countries where the older systems are more affordable.

  • pssst... don´t talk about you don´t know ¬¬

  • Guille's first apperance was in street fighter 2 :P

  • Street Figater, was the original name. This is really a Nes ( Famicon) pirated game with awsome graphics for 1994 standards

  • that's pretty damn amazing for 8-bit!

  • @forfancy yep i agree!!!

  • I agree, not so much in looks but The rom memory needed for all the moves makes this impossible for 8 bits

  • You'd better believe it

  • Bro this is Street Fighter 2 not street fighter. SF1 didn't have guile it had birdie and adon and...... gen....

  • Still looks great to me! It looks like it plays well and that's all that would matter to me!

  • Not that bad I guess...Could be worse(Bad Street Brawler)...Sega Master did a better job IMO.

  • This actually looks pretty good! Except for the fact that the shoryuken launches you 50 feet in the air.

  • il est plutot bient reussi...sauf le son !! lol

  • wow.brings back memories. i couldn't afford an SNES back then. i actually had a copy of the game. now i wonder where i kept that cartridge

  • this game looks better than the genesis version

  • ROFL even the master system version looks better than the NES version!!!

  • thats becaus its a pirate

  • it actually looks fairly good... for the NES

  • Wow, this game was very popular. takes me back. sounds were awful!

  • sounds were awsome

  • wow very smooth, with very little sprite flicker! Nice technical achievement!

  • is their a download link for this?

  • Wow, look at their jump height!

  • Ive played a few street Fighter pirates, but i dont think ive plated this one. What is the rom name?

  • Street Fighter 3 [p1] , which brings me to my question? Does anyone know if the "Super Fighter III" version has been dumped? It has, in my opinion, a better title screen.

  • Pretty accurate indeed. I played Tekken and MK NES but this still the best

  • wow. that's terrible. at least the sms version was closer.

  • I've played it. It's a rom floating around out there. It's a hack, but a good one.

  • A hack of what?

  • I guess it isn't a "hack" as the game is made from scratch. Perhaps "remake" is the proper term. I simply meant that it was not an official product of Capcom. But I would suspect that had Capcom made an NES version of this game, it would be a lot like this, as evidence of the GameBoy version of this game, which is a lot like this.

  • Aye, this is the best NES version I've ever seen. This was legit and not a hack?

  • a legit "pirate" if that makes sense. To my knowledge, this was original & not hacked from any publicly released game.

  • Could've been hacked from the other pirates. In my opinion, this game is the worst in terms of music. Th graphics are okay.

  • The was a legit port of street fighter II for the NES in Japan. It's kinda like how they now release games for the PS2 and the PS3. They did it with the NES and SNES until the NES finally died.

  • nes died? don`t make me cry please

  • this is a hell of alot better then those sf3 and sf4 and sf6 and all those shit pirate games.

  • What the, where have I been, I guess I moved to next gen and they were still making this for 8 bit.

  • hey before you comment this was made way back man maybe 94-96

  • earlier than that....

  • made in 91

  • Ryu's Shoryuken looks awesome.

  • the sound is a complete godawful mess, but it looks solid gameplay-wise

  • wow this pirate actually looks really smooth

  • looks pretty bad. its a illegal version of capcom. Maybe later we gonna see smack down vs raw, metal gear 4 for the Nes and smack down vs raw 2007 for Snes.

  • this one is terrible... look at the "quote unquote" fireball of Ryu, come on pirates take a dang minute of pride in your work...

to see that yes SF2 could be done decently in an 8-bit enviroment, look at the SMS port (done by Brazilian company Tec Toy)

  • don't get me started on that port. The graphics were okay but the game played like crap.

  • I mean the SMS port

  • sf2 on nes was an illelagel pirate port.

  • This game don't look half bad compared to the ported versions.

  • I Have THis game for an Emultaor.. but in the begining it says... Street Figher 3...

  • where do you download that game software of?

  • Lazy pirates dont bring E.Honda, Zangief and Balrog. I had this game for 25€ (1995). The background pick of the cartridge is well done.

So i know how o do Ryu Sho-Ryu-ken is a bit difficult: Press down, right and UP. The pirateds changed the RIGHT command to UP.

  • Everyone laughed at this verson when it came out.

  • Nice 8-bit graphics, but sound is meh. Looks like you can control it well, but with two buttons? How?

  • Tap a button to do the weak move, hold it to do the fierce move.

  • Yeah they did it with the GBA one, but GBA has four. I guess you have to hold it for like five seconds.

  • Now this ACTUALLY looks like a Street Fighter for the NES.

  • Somebody knows how to make the dragon punch move on this version of S.F.?

  • i played this game once on famicom

  • Ohhhh, I wasted thousands of hours of my life in the 90´s playing this thing,´cause I couldn´t buy a snes. En Argentina esas versiones pirata abundaban! Es increíble cómo los chinos podían contrabandear con tanto éxito! Aguanten los juegos pirata de la época de Menem!!!

  • Lol the snes version owned.

  • jajaja si habre tenido de estos jaja y aun hoy en dia exisen pasate por cualquier lugar de juegos.. y tienen cartuchos fruta como pokenmon, sonic, y taaantos otros...

  • Animations are wonderful. But the flickering of the graphic is bad.

  • This is not a bad game.

Excellent graphics for a 8 bits console.

  • The graphics are mint!

  • did this one have accurate controls?

i remember my friend had a pirate cart with a version of sf for nes with accurate controls. D,DF,F + P for fireballs etc

and i had a shit version with F+AB for fireball

  • I think that crappy version you're talking about is Street Fighter II Pro or this game:

    watch?v=v5RNejxO3QI

  • That's pretty good for a hack... that music has to go, though... if there is only one sound track in the entire hack, please don't make it that vomit-inducing bleeping, even the NES was capable of decent music.

  • I find it funny that the other pirate SF games had decent music (but lacking gameplay-wise); they should've teamed up. :p

  • it was capable of good music, because so many talented musicians and programmers worked on it. Hardware isn't everything.

  • i agree 2

  • In the NES emulator I use, the game is listed as both 'Street Fighter 2 Pro', and 'Street Fighter 3' (the title screen reads 'Street Fighter III').

  • theres a trick in this game, if you push start+up buttons at the same time before a match, the life bar of your enemy will be empty.

it works with the select button too

  • i wonder how do u record all this stuff?

  • AWESOME, SIMPLY AWESOME!

  • No, psychosis, this was a pirate...only a REALLY GOOD one
