  • Just all for the music. This guys got it!

  • Bay Ridge, baby!

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah the good old metal heads NOW & Forever - I like to listen to 80's songs on the good old vinyl records...there is a certain warmth on vinyl that you cannot find on cd's and the like....

  • Fucking amazing guitarist he is!

  • Seen Poison last night in Moline, IL- They rocked the Quad Cities!!!!! Thanks for a great show guys!

  • I saw him live.AMAZING. totally underrated guitarist he is incredible those who say he isnt good or great you don't know shit

  • anyone that would suggest cece deville is and underated guitar player is a fool... listen to one of the most amazing rock solo's of all times played and created by cece deville on poison hit's song life goes on... you could never compare the talent of poison with the popularity of nirvana.... talent is superior always you cant buy it you're either born with it or without it and last time i checked there are no joke suicidal dorks on poison's line-up...!!!!

  • After watching all the videos, I have a new found respect for the man...

  • kurt cobain ruined music. if we where smart we could take those odd sounds that alterative produced and incorparate them into oldschool heavymeay and create something really beutiful.radiohead, nin, smashingpumpkins and nirvana all have something nice to add to heavy metal.

  • @yourallbrainwashed Kurt actually did a great thing for music, incorporating a lot of elements into his songwriting and providing us with great songs,it was actually the right move to go for a different sound instead of trying to fit into the metal mold. All the bands that u mentioned actually did and they brought authenticity to the scene,a new breath. And really,it's all the same thing,no sense in making distinction of genres,it's all rock and roll and it's the best

  • It took great courage for C.C. to comeback after hitting rock bottom. He never gave up. He turned to a Higher Power for support and I truly respect him for that. He was always underminded because of his past addictions. God or the Powers that be forgave him and graced him with a second chance. I will forever be your fan C.C. Deville. Blessed Be.

  • CC is so honest and grateful.

  • Wow, I didn't know the Crypt Keeper and Jeff Spicoli had a baby!

  • its a wonder this dude is still alive

  • u can see y he wore make up in poison, coz his one ugly fucker, looks like a dogs arse, i dig his guitar work

  • I Respect him, He really cleaned up and changed. Became a good guy i respect him a lot!

But Poison to me i like them but there more of a guilty pleasure band to me, And Bret Michaels gets on my nerves nowadays!

And i think CC deserves better he's a good guitarist

  • i heard this was recorded the day after he got out of rehab is this true?

  • CC Rules!

    God bless you Bro!

  • CC's great.

  • CC DeVille is actually one of the best guitar players alive, he just gets overlooked. most underrated guitarist in history.

  • He sounds so much like Joe Pesci. Your a great guy C.C.

  • Yeah ! CC Devil !! Rock n roll !!! Excellent !!

  • He's talking about Bay Ridge, Brooklyn in the beginning and he went to Jr. High and High School with my Mom at Fort Hamilton Highschool. My Mom said he used to do talent shows and was skilled in guitar even before his teens. What he says about Bay Ridge is so true lol everyone knows everyone and it's a pretty nice neighborhood, although a lot of people have been moving here and ruining it. Also wiggers are ruining it.

  • oh, mmmm...he looks really good... :)

  • so glad he's talking in a normal voice and not doing that anoying bob cat goldwaite voice !

  • You Kidding Me? you are so ignorant

  • he's clean now he's not on anything anymore

  • hahah!!! man this is the first time i see cc talking, i've looked up too him for long time but he just sounds so different from what i had imagined he would!!

so i supose that's the brooklyn accent, 'cause he sounds like Clemenza from the GodFather :D

He's an amazing musician, best wishes from Colombia!

  • is he hi on coke? looks and sounds like it. did he fall off the wagon again

  • @davidallenroth

Umm.... No, this is how he normally is.

  • i am so glad to see C.C. is as nice as a guy as everyone says. Why would you hate poison? there all such nice guys. And they rock!!

  • you are so right , i always admire such nice guys like CC and Bret

  • lol

  • 95Glam - learn to READ I was replying to a name of user, NO shit! EVH is a ledgend one of the main reasons why i picked up a Guitar.

Any one INTO Guitar knows Akira.

    Alex skolnik is from TESTAMENT!

Look them up. you obviously dont know shit about Guitar GO listen to Hanna montana

if you dont understand or have NO knowledge.

    how old are you 12?

  • holy coke batman!

  • Holy coke is right robin. No offense to CC, I never watched any interviews back in the 80s, so i may be wrong, this may be his personality, but the first thing I thought when I saw this was....wow, he is holding his chin/mouth so tight, and look at those eyes..I know what he's been doing. I hope I am wrong, he's too old to be "all hopped up".

  • @LilLoveTrooper If this is what it is like to be "all hopped up" on cocaine, that seems like a pretty boring drug! He seems sober to me.

  • @RebeliousHutterite2 Hey, I said I could be wrong. I guess the other parts of this interview where he is really animated make me think he may be high. But I watched this particular clip again, and I guess he really doesn't seem coked up. He seems like a very nice guy either way

  • @RebelliousHutterite2 it is a pretty boring and stupid drug!

  • OMFG CC Deville is my new Hero from Brooklyn i never knew. I grew up in like Bensonhurst and Borough park. CC should come and Visit. lived for like 9 years there and 5 in NJ

  • cc is an awesome guy. my 2nd favorite guitarist, and his stories are so amazing (:

  • Could you imagine being around this guy back when he was coked out of his mind ?

... its hard enough just dealing with him now while watching some stupid rambling clip.

  • He was born on my birthdate. 5/14.

  • C.C. has been my favorite guitar player since i was 10 yrs old

  • CC was underrated Guitarist.

My Friends & alot of other said he wasnt good.

86-90, then in 91 Nirvana comes on the scene & they thought they were great, when actually Kurt Sucked at Guitar

  • CC is truly underrated... one day they will apreciate poison´s version of the life. FatShowPony is right quote: "its good stuff to listen to if you feel a little blue". and its good times metal. Thnx.

  • nirvana was never about outstanding guitar playing, poison and them are two totally different animals

  • Actually kurt was on guitar worlds top 100 guitarists of all time

  • EVH - so who cares? its called popularity.

you can SUCK shit & get on a list, theres hundreds of Guirists that were Better than him, is Alex skolnik on the list? is

    akira takasaki?

  • @MetalHeart8787 Hes now officially one of my fav guitarist in music, got allot of guitarists i really like.

But C C is definately up there, like Todd Rundgren, this guy of course, Mark Knopfler (here in the UK), Eric Claption, Chuck Berry (wasnt that good guitarist but he created the true RnB), a personal fav of mine I've met Malcolm Jones, in a celtic rock band, hes ultimately at the top.

Just so many there all really cool though, changes all the time, love playing chicago blues myself @ home

  • @MetalHeart8787 he is a great guitarist though, comes up with epic solos, like in nothing but a good time and others.

  • @cultation1 yeah well thats what i was saying cc was Good, great solos

one of my all time fav solos on the song Falling Angel.

  • @MetalHeart8787 music is suposed to progress not worsen.

elvis, zeppelin, ac/dc, metallica..........nir fuckin vana? HOW DID WE LET THIS HAPPEN AND WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO LET IT HAPPEN? YELL, YELL, YELL, SCREAM , SCEAM, SCREAM....

    oh,.... alright....im ok now FUCKKKKKKK!

  • @MetalHeart8787 not only was CC an underrated guitarist but also an underrated musician and songwriter...

  • @MetalHeart8787 CC is a great guitarist but however,he played for Poison, which wasn't such a great band.On the other hand,Kurt was a good guitar player too,but his style was much different, just a much simpler approach. And his band is fucking great,so Nirvana will always top any hair metal bands cos they broke the mold, that's what rock music is really about

  • @MetalHeart8787 yes these morons will never get it!

grunge ruined radio. i used to be a fool like these other guys and listen to alternative. but when i started to learn to play guitar it made me realize how hard it was to play heavy metal. and have you listened to all the fucking stupid music they play on the radio these days i me oh my fucking god its soooo stupid and talentless!

  • @yourallbrainwashed yes true BUT also theres some good songs, like the Beatles

Musically john & george could never compare to paul Gilbert or Marty friedman but they had some good songs. theres always been lame music. Metal was giving more attention 82-86

Qiuet Riot even had a #1 LP. at the time. now a days it been getting more attention & thank to younger kids like you who have discovered Great Music

  • @MetalHeart8787 CC's not that great either... he was extremely sloppy... not saying i'm better or anything, he had a great sense of writing guitar music... but honestly when i saw Poison live he was pretty horrible

  • @sblopez08 he was better than kurt.

i saw poison live also in 2000 & i watched cc's every move & he was Good live even sang a song (i hate every bone in your body) i listened to CC i mean very closely because by 2000 ive heard many times how shity he was. yeah theres Many Guitarists better than CC thats for sure. i go by songs, i love kiss

but paul stanley is a terrible guitarist.

ive seen Footage of Rhoads & EVH & they are both flawless / Awsome.

VH & Ozzy songs are just great songs

  • @MetalHeart8787 i never said he wasn't better than Kurt... two completely different styles of music and two completely different styles of guitar playing... when i saw him last year with Def Leppard and Cheap Trick me and my best friend were 3 rows away from the stage on CC's side... and trust me he's gotten a lot worse in 10 years... and Randy and Eddie are both in leagues of there own... personally i think CC Devil both while being underrated is also overrated

  • @MetalHeart8787 thats when your wrong noone didnt care about his guitar playing they only listened to the music because it was good and kurt never wanted to be famous he did it for the musicso if your gonna say he sucked at guitar how about you read about him and then make you opinion on him.

  • @ianxxrock what is Reading gonna do?

i knew about him when he came onto the scene & he had a good attitude BUT was a druggy!

so by 94 it ended, yeah ive seen several documantaries on Nirvana & like i said they were good guys, just OVER Rated. im refering to Musician friends! Not 15 yur olds who thought Nirvana was the "best new thing"

  • CC clearly defined Poison's success. He brought the talent they needed to make it to the top. Take him out of Poison and they would still be in Harrisburg. Brett should also show more class and acknowledge Matt Smith more than he had who came before CC. Together those 2 dudes made Poison happen.

  • Not sure why people always seem to bag this guy and his band. I think Poisons music is just good times metal that doesn't take itself too seriously - its good stuff to listen to if you feel a little blue.

  • funny, smart and very witty guy. I worked with him for a minute at his low point and was STILL very gracious and

    accommodating.

  • Funny how he tones the accent when he's being "serious". In Poison interviews he talks like a constipated Italian woman from Brooklyn...

  • Some fake white teeth

  • Well, I'm glad to see that you do end up recognizing that C.C. has some real taste in music- after you bash him.

Actually, to be honest, there's a lot of truth in what you say. But we ought to be glad that he's grown up and out of the narcisstic heaven/hell that being in Poison must have been.

  • but he still has more money and hes more famous than you fatass!!!!!

  • Thats not the point it doesn't matter how much money he has and how famous he is, he is a great roll model and an even better guitarist poison definatly wouldnt be were they are today if it werent for CC, i am not say that Rikki and Brett and the others who play and have played with them arent talented because they are, but its like Ozzy Osbourne hes an amazing singer and an amazing artist, but he wouldnt have made it as far as he had today if it werent for Zach Wylde.

  • I'm not sure if your just a kid, or did too many drugs that you don't remember, but Zach didn't join Ozzy until his 14th album, so Zach really had nothing to do with Ozzys successful career. Tony Iommi(1968-1978,1996-1999,2001-present) Randy Rhoads(1979-1982) Bernie Torme(1982) Brad Gillis(1982) Jake E. Lee(1982-1987) Zakk Wylde(1987-1992, 1995, 1998, 2002-2004, 2006-present) Steve Vai(1994-1995) Alex Skolnick(1995) Joe Holmes(1995-2001) Jerry Cantrell(2004-2006)
  • I never knew Vai played with Ozzy? Very cool. Thanks for posting.

  • this guys is so awesome he is my favorite guitarist
