  • surprise at academy why 8

  • Way to go, everyone. Miss the point of an awesome song in your totally pointless arguments.

  • @HisPrincessKittykat I agree. Lol Just shut up and enjoy the song!! :D

  • @peanutbutterblah

    Calm down.

You are incapable of polite debate without becoming abusive.

Please feel free to put your side of things without resorting to rudeness although I sincerely doubt your capabilities in that department. Otherwise refrain from the continuous racist and offensive replies as it is getting rather tiresome.

  • Hey you guys that are fighting cant u just met IRL and have a fight!

  • @mynameisorre nah I think peanutbutterblah is scared I would kick his ass :p

  • Yes you did you wrote "GRFO you stinky cracker!" GRFO in case you have forgotten means get raped and fuck off. I think you need to learn some history you are 25 from USA and think that urban dictionary has the true meaning of the c-word! Do some research and you will find that it originally refers to the poor white rural Americans from Georgia, Florida etc in the 1700's.

Now you call me a liar- is there no end to your insults?? It's a good job I have self-esteem after the way you talk to me

  • @xxxtiggyxxx

It was a typo; I meant to write "GTFO." BTY, I was taught the origin of the word "Cracker" by my History (who happens to be African American) Professor. But since you mention Urban Dictionary, perhaps it is you who needs some history lessons.

  • @peanutbutterblah

To say lie and deceit is ingrained in my culture is hilarious plus your accusation that I'm lying and deceitful is unfounded. Furthermore, I have neither pink skin or pink-coloured skin.

  • @xxxtiggyxxx So now that you realize that you were wrong about the word "Cracker" and about being a Cracker, you try to change the subject...

And you lie about lying and about having dirty pink skin. Don't you feel less manly having such an effeminate pink skin color?

    Why do you do this?

  • @peanutbutterblah I think you are the one changing the subject. I am not even sure where you are going with your argument anymore. You lost this argument long ago and are not man enough to admit defeat and walk away. If you reply back to this message this shows you as weak and pathetic.

  • @xxxtiggyxxx

You are the one who changed the subject, you pink-skinned fag!

You were wrong on both accounts, about the word Cracker and about India's history.

And no one cares what you think, so go crawl back up your momma's ass!

  • British helped India LOL All you did was rape our culture and made us social slaves and dried up all our resources through mercantilism. Why dont you go do your research, ur just mad because hard working and more competent Indians are coming to Britain and taking the best jobs away from lazy ass brits.

  • @GotJesus56 Why are you blaming all British people? India gained independence from Britain in 1947- that is 63 years ago and a lot has changed since then. Most the people who were involved in Indian colonialism are dead. Stop blaming the British people of today for the actions of others which happened in the past!

Also not all Brits are "lazy ass". A lot of us work very hard.

  • @xxxtiggyxxx

    GRFO you stinky cracker!

Your kind kept India from advancing, kept her from the industrial revolution, that is why she is in the state she is!

Learn a thing or two before opening your orifice you dirty pink skinned fagot!

  • @peanutbutterblah

You have called me a "dirty pink skinned fagot" and "pink shit".

You have told me to "get raped and fuck off".

You called me the c word which is racist.

You have insulted me in every possible way but I pity you if swearing at and insulting people you have never met is the way you get your kicks- I am not arguing with a person who is a racist bigot.

  • @xxxtiggyxxx Don't be silly, I'm not a biggot!

It's not even possible to be racist against a White person. The C word comes from when the White slave owners would crack their whips and because it made a cracking sound the Black slaves referred to them as "Crackers." - I mean, how could you possible be offended by that!

And you are choosing not to argue, not because you think I'm a racist, but because you know that I am right.

  • @peanutbutterblah

The c-word comes from the American deep south and it was a term used to describe very poor white people who lived on the worst land (usually swampland), who were ill-educated, had no manners and no money. Even the slaves on the plantations looked down on them as they were so low in social class.

No I am not arguing with you because you told me to "get raped and fuck off" and other insults.

Even that comment you just wrote was patronising.

  • @xxxtiggyxxx

    You are a liar!

First of all, read all my comments, I never wrote "get raped" or "fuck off," and you are also wrong about the word "Cracker." Your explanation makes absolutely no sense!

The slave owners would "crack" the whip. which made a "cracking" sound, and that is why the slaves called their White masters "Crackers."

Take a History lesson and learn a thing or two. And FYI, I am not patronizing, you in-fact, suffer from low self-esteem, that is why you feel this way.

  • 3 people don't know what O..Saya means. Or simply are deaf :)

  • this song is amazing, and the film is amazing. why do these comments have to be some war about which country is kinder? both the uk and the us have shown how awful and how amazing each can be.

you've got to remember that every person is different - even within a country. shocking, i know.

  • this is one of my favorite movies. definately my favorite love story. frieda pinto is sssooo pretty!! just thought i'd put that out there lol

  • 1:48 - 2:10 seconds is my favorite part =)

  • Exhibit One: Uninformed brit-basher.

  • awesome movie

  • Omg, best movie song EVER. It's so deep and mesmerizing.

  • O.. i saya you e slumd dog millionare ! !!

  • I'm in love with the movie.

  • Fantastic drumming, id say your arms would be sore as shit after playing this.:-).

  • Who was the ONE idiot that disliked this song?

  • Who was the ONE idiot that disliked this song?

  • So exciting

  • the movie was amazing, but some of the actors are still living in the "slums" so the movie did not change anything, which is really sad

  • @sunny0893 not to sound heartless but in our society we see the slums as a really awful place with negative connotations and it is sad seeing children living like that, but this particular place was bright and not dangerous.. and the child actors from the film who did live in the slum did get offered education and other opportunities from danny boyle whoever apparently

  • oh krap its mum i lov that part

  • M.I.A's "singing" kind of ruined this song for me.. lol

  • like. definitely like

  • this song makes me want to run!!!!

  • what are the music instruments used in this song?

  • such a powerful song!!1

  • this would be a good song while watching ranaldinho do tricks n watch him kick ass in futball

  • i love this song and the movie

  • love this song

    <333

  • I really love this movie!! It was simply amazing....

  • I love this song. The film was soo beautiful <3

  • in jay ho the boy cant dance i saw ,,,,,,lol

  • The movie wasn't actually Bollywood, it was a British film. But the dancing was trying to be Bollywoodish... In a real Bollywood film, the dance scenes would come about every 15 minutes

  • and take place in random locations, like the jungle, or switzerland.

  • This movie is absolutely amazing. It's one of those movies that you can never get sick of watching. Love it Love it LOVE IT!

  • this is my favourite song from the movie.

I liked the first part of it but the end was crap.

    Dancing..? :/

  • the dancing is a bollywood thing they do that in all/most of their movies

  • it isnt a bolly wood film

  • i know but it is a movie in india and my guess was to allude to bollywood

  • yeah i didnt really get why they put the dancing bit at the end....at first i thot maybe they were continuing with the story/plot or w/e but then i realized it was just a dance/music vid of sorts....im not saying i didnt like it but i didnt really see the point

  • @TheRunner217 Lol, I thought so too at first, but then I realized it was linking in the plot from when Jamal and Latika were small. He did the dance moves for her just before he and Salim ran away and promised to "dance with her in the spotlight." That's why it switches between them as adults and them as children at the end

  • Really? I thought that the whole entire movie was incredible...

  • yea i luv tht movie it was really gud i jus feel bad for salim cuz he died but at least jamal n latika survived

  • when the sun comes down, the party comes up!

  • is that what it means??

  • cudowne uwielbiam ta piosenke a moim ulubionym filmem jest slum dog milioner z ulicy... uwilebiam... kocham.....

  • This song is so wonderful... Saw Slumdog Millionaire yesterday and was like, I'm really gonna get the mp3s to theses songs and so i found these. Thanks :D

  • Aaah I love this music !! And the movie is really really great !!

  • actually most of the kids were paid only 50 rupees a day which is 1 US dollar ... education is expensive but not that expensive in India and considering this movie did so well and these kids are responsible for its success they deserve way more than what they recieved .... the Brits took advantage of Indians back in the day and there still doing it now .... so sad =(

  • well that's not true - if you looked into it fr more than 2 seconds

  • im not talking about the main kids in the movie they actually recieved a LITTLE more im talking about the children who were extras that were paid 50 rupees a day & to be honest i dont even think there education is being paid for but who knows right? all i know is i saw the interview & thats how much they said they recieved so thats the information im going to go by dont get me wrong they were completely grateful and excited about everything cuz for them thats alot but it still breaks my heart

  • i though it was 47 rupees= 1 dollar or something!!!

  • wow. 50 rupees is only one dollar!!!!Holy crap!

  • actually 1 U.S. dollar is 85 rupees now so they didnt even get a single dollar

  • @aRiEs1541998 - Rs 45 is equal to $1 USD.

  • So the US don't take advantage of cheap labour in India? Interesting. "the Brits", you make us sound like a fucking hive-entity. What you mean is one film director took advantage, and that's a load of bullshit anyway.

  • @xshy786x soooo true. brits for centuries have stolen cultures and freedom of pretty much every country: america, ireland, australia, africa, i could go on.

  • @TraceyLouise2260

america is not a country, is a continent !!

i guess you refer to U.S.A.

  • @xshy786x i knew it was the britts who did this

    bloody britts

  • @xshy786x Not true, If you looked more into it you whould know that actually they gave many of the kids a home and many more money.

  • @sejemuller but i heard that the kids were each given a trust fund...but could only access it till they were old enough.

  • @xshy786x let me guess ur some guy/gal from the us who thinks that their country is so great and they pay everyone a decent wage. well if u r wot i just described then u r wrong so so very wrong

  • @xshy786x actually after this movie got many awards (which they didn't know would happen) they gave the kids some homes for them and their family.

  • @xshy786x we helped the indians and their economy, still do, do your research a bit, not like the US is exactly blame free now is it? :P always telling other countries how to do stuff while yours goes to shit and exploits more than the rest of the world put together

  • @BlackButterfly2911 Hey now America isn't all that bad. :( Believe it or not there are Americans who aren't fat and stupid. Us skinny and intelligent Americans are a dying race, lol.

  • @BlackButterfly2911 xshy786x ain't even from the US shes from Bhutan

  • @xshy786x My ass!

  • @xshy786x are you sure of that? is there a refrence, I'm curious about this.

  • @xshy786x

actually what they did was they didn't payed them much now, but took care of there education. If the kids stay in school till they graduate high school they will be able to access all their money so they can use it wisely. It would be a bad idea to pay such young kids so much money now. They did an amazing job and there are getting a reasonable reward i think.

  • now i am definately getting dual citizenship! wow!

  • NASCAR is so awesome.

  • what does that have to do with anything?

  • ha ha...yeah

  • yeah why put jacob black in between lol

  • I was being a little insane that day.

  • GO INDIA!!! WE ROCK!!!

  • yay! I'm American, but thats okay to! I loved this movie....and Jacob Black. Haha

  • lol...true. i didnt really like any of the other people in that movie...book whatever lol

  • omg, i was so pissed because my brother told me that little jamal and little latika were accually from slums, and they only got payed like 10 dollars a day for their acting, but the people payed for their education which is cool

  • Yup, they're having their education paid for right through university too i think.

  • I certainly hope so! I hope they recieve blessings too numerous to count!

  • dude salim was gangsta

that last scene when he filled the tub with the cash made no sense to me, but it was still awesome

  • he wanted to die rich... sheesh anyone could have guessed it..

  • Yeah, when he says god is good or sumtin like that, thats about the cash lol

  • i love the movie!!! and in my opinion, i liked Salim's character the most, always unpredictable, since he was little, always a badass!!!!!

  • omg i LOVE M.I.A. in this song!!!!!

  • I loved the movie. The music on there is also really good

  • amazing film, amazing soundtrack, amazing actors.

Little Jamal is the cutest kid evvvveeeer

  • AR Rahman did it again, his collabration with Hollywood films,Tamil films and Hindi films are amazing!
