Can someone plz point me in the direction of Mark Kerr talking about his steroids abuse. i watched smashing machine but they never talked about his steroid use or showed anyting about it. I know he suffers from high blood pressure , but if anyone has any articles or anything plz let me know.. curious ...thanks

I wouldn't put Kerr in the "Legend" fighter. He just use to lie down on his opponents and just punch them without KOing them. In some cases hardly punch at all, just use his weight to lie there (typical wrestlers move) Him and Coleman are examples of that. And yes he did juice, so I wouldn't say he is talented but rather cheating.
Mo is impressive, explosive power and he did everything right, Kerr wasnt ready but a lot of guys could have lost like that. sad to get beat by someone who acts like acharacter

A huge flaw that I think cost Mark several of his fights is when he tries to throw that shitty leg kick. He did it way back against Igor, and here he is even doing it now. I think he let Bas Rutten get in his head with that, it's one of the few times when a fighter SHOULD NOT "mix it up". Should have just kept to his takedowns and GnP.
What everyone is missing is the fact that when Mark Kerr was a top competitor, guys who fought in MMA matches didn't know how to fight. He fought a bunch of Karate Black Belts and bar room brawlers that had no athletic ability. At least Kerr could wrestle and was a decent athlete. Now every fighter is a great athlete and knows what they are doing so Mark Kerr doesn't stand a chance. He doesn't belong in the sport anymore.

A huge flaw that I think cost Mark several of his fights is when he tries to throw that shitty leg kick. He did it way back against Igor, and here he is even doing it now. I think he let Bas Rutten get in his head with that, it's one of the few times when a fighter SHOULD NOT "mix it up". Should have just kept to his takedowns and GnP.

What everyone is missing is the fact that when Mark Kerr was a top competitor, guys who fought in MMA matches didn't know how to fight. He fought a bunch of Karate Black Belts and bar room brawlers that had no athletic ability. At least Kerr could wrestle and was a decent athlete. Now every fighter is a great athlete and knows what they are doing so Mark Kerr doesn't stand a chance. He doesn't belong in the sport anymore.

there are pre and post fight drug screenings in major organizations. while i don't doubt it's a possibility to cheat the system, it's pretty difficult. chael sonnen was busted for taking testosterone booster for a condition he'd had for several years, nick diaz got caught with marijuana in his system after he tapped out gomi. fact is, a lot of these guys are so physically imposing because training is their life, period. overeem's a great example of this.

Steroids, drugs, bad relationship, lack of interest, and being out of shape, ruined his career, he was one of the best back in the day. He crossed trained unlike alot of the earlier wrestlers.

That shows pure dominance =even if all the Black men are not champions. This means that proportional to their numbers black men are much more likely to win their fights than lose them in all combat sports.
