to be honest i havent played this beta yet (would love too lol) but from what i have seen it is a fresh start from all the old socom games i used to play. which are my favorite franchise. Although from what i have seen this will no doubt re energize this franchise all over again. So i believe this should be a buy for you seeing how imo this is looking to be the best 3rdps shooter out there today. and the 5 player co-op campaign this game will have will be awesome.
Get It Because: It's a fresh look at the SOCOM Series as it was originally somewhat hard to get kills as the Player skill required to play the former SOCOM games (SOCOM 2 and Conformation) has been pretty Steep. What Zipper (Developers) did here was make it slightly more new player friendly and decided to tone down the slow and Tactical gameplay to quick run n' gun gameplay style
Reasons it could be Bad: Classic Mode isn't really Classic. Zipper not listening to Hardcore Fans. BETA Code Please?
@dcs5047 I do get owned every now and then yeah ,sure..so does everyone lol...but my main reason for not likeing classic is the fact that, its really annoying sitting there after you die watching your team camp behind a boat or in a corner. Everytime i jump on the beta i play a few games of classic(i do not suck at it) but when i die, i can only take so much of the camping till it become boring to play.
I like the respawn better then the other ones! I saw a video in the beta forums that the SMG's are beast on this game. I played my last match when every one was using them and owning me like a bitch. This shouldn't be called a Beta but really a Demo since the game comes out in like a couple weeks.
