this remake is the worst idea ever. We've already seen how Peter becomes Spider-man and how well Toby Maggiore played him so who wants to see the same film twice but with a gayer emo spider-man? I'm a huge fan and i can guarantee I won't be making this film any money by seeing it.
Im not so sure its THAT bad of an idea... Think about the first Batman movie. For its time, and even today some might argue, it was a great movie. Contrast it with The Dark Knight. It doesnt take away from the movie, it puts a different perspective. The Dark Knight was creepy as all get out and was a great flick. If they can portray the new film in a more serious manner, I will love it!

Marvel Studios is making the Avengers. Back when Spider-Man was made, they didn't have their own studios and had given the rights to Sony Pictures. @FaithfulInferno Peter was suppose to look like a skinny nerd in High School as was portrayed in the original comics drawn by Steve Ditko. Thus the look like a kid. Later in the comics as he aged he got better looking and went to college, etc. as college was mentioned in 2nd movie.
I think the only good villains that are left are Lizard, Mysterio and Chameleon.Kraven isn't bad, and they should use Rhino as a supporting villain, but they've used Kingpin (in Daredevil), Sandman, Venom, Dr Octopus and Green Goblin. Black Cat, Shocker and Scorpion are back-ups too, not main characters and Vulture is too wacky with his age/life draining.But with Mysterio and Chameleon there's scope for deduction as well as fighting.Carnage would be good but they'd need to do the Symbiote again

@atrizzleness We pretty much are starting from scratch with "The Amazing Spider-Man" which has a more creative plot knowing the next villain will finally be The Lizard. A primary film member let it slip that stunt actors have spent hours in heavy make-up for a fight scene to turn all the S.W.AT. team into reptilian creatures, which I assume is the work of The Lizard.
The trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" will be released next week to watch online & will debut via "Captain America: TFA".

"The Amazing Spiderman" would definitely be a good passtime, but it sure as hell should NOT be replacing Tobey Macguire. In the Avengers movie, I EXPECT Tobey Macguire to be Spiderman. Simply put: There's already been 3 movies with Tobey as Spiderman. He's irreplaceable. So I definitely don't want "The Amazing Spiderman" to turn into a series at all.

Marvel Studios is making the Avengers. Back when Spider-Man was made, they didn't have their own studios and had given the rights to Sony Pictures. Since Sony Pictures owns Spider-Man as of this moment, he can't be in any of the movies make by Marvel Studios (Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America). Same goes for the X-Men, which are owned by Fox.

They need to do a Venom stand alone on the order of the R rated Punisher:War Zone. Keep the Kiddies at home and let Venom be the brutal kick ass killer he is. It would also be a great format to introduce Carnage. The adult story lines in Marvel comics are far more interesting than the standard PG lines anyway. Somehow they need to get Black Cat in these movies too.

@HomerSETH9 Yeah and Maximum Carnage was my 3rd favorite spider-man/venom series. 1st being Venom: Lethal Protector and 2nd being Venom: Funeral Pyre. But it does suck that they killed venom off in spider-man 3. Does anyone know who Kane is? He would be awesome in an R-rated Carnage/venom crossover as well! Fuck, the dude who played sandman should've been venom and then Topher Grace (after seeing his roll in Predators at the end) might be able to pull off a good Cletus Kasady ;)

@FaithfulInferno Peter was suppose to look like a skinny nerd in High School as was portrayed in the original comics drawn by Steve Ditko. Thus the look like a kid. Later in the comics as he aged he got better looking and went to college, etc. as college was mentioned in 2nd movie.

I think the only good villains that are left are Lizard, Mysterio and Chameleon.Kraven isn't bad, and they should use Rhino as a supporting villain, but they've used Kingpin (in Daredevil), Sandman, Venom, Dr Octopus and Green Goblin. Black Cat, Shocker and Scorpion are back-ups too, not main characters and Vulture is too wacky with his age/life draining.But with Mysterio and Chameleon there's scope for deduction as well as fighting.Carnage would be good but they'd need to do the Symbiote again

@64522744 I watched all of Tobey's films & thought they were good, but 'The Amazing Spider-Man' is based on the Original comic. The next film isn't the same as Tobey's. This version will be more true to the comic.
