Tony! I hope you have some idea the incredible pleasure you bring others with the time and talent you share with others, especially those of us with absolutely no musical talent. Thank you so much, my friend, for your gifts. Ole Johnny B.
have any of you ever heard of Peter Daniels he is a close freind of mine and he is great but i cant seem to find any videos of his performances he has tapes but none on youtube
Hi Tony, I have only just found you (so to speak) & i must say what a beautiful sound you make with that steel guitar, I'm slowly going through everything of yours, so keep them coming. Mike P. Norwich, England.
I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't heard it myself, but this instrumental rendition of "Hello Darlin'" imparts the feelings of sadness, pain and sorrow equally as well as the versions with lyrics to tell the story do. Who would have thought that an instrument could compete with the spoken word on this deep and oh so emotional level of love won and then lost. I'm awestruck and eternally grateful. OK, I think I'll go cry now.
Yes Tony, Mike was right in his comment, It's the guy behind the steel that makes it. And you just made this an awesome instrumental, one of the best I've ever heard. 5 stars cannot be what this one deserves, but all that's allowed. Straight into my favorites for this great steel instrumental. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR GREAT TALENT TONY, C.W.
