Wow look hes flying! Call the wright brothers

  • Don't call the wright broters but rather phone the X-Files !

  • wow I cant believe that it was incredible. WTF was it beside a plane?

  • The main difference between an L-1011 and a DC-10 is the tail structure.

On a DC-10, the tail motor (turbine fan engine) runs straight through the tail.

On an L-1011, the exhaust is below the center near the bottom of the tail structure..

This answer was brought to you by an old gear and turbine overhaul mechanic from Los Angeles......have a nice day.

  • Stunning. 39 seconds of quality time...fucked up.

  • They are building a new one. Bigger and better. On the Northwest end of the airfield. They have a little temporary one set up there now.

  • thats cool did not know about that

  • Wow. Some mystery.....

  • take go aness

  • It actually belongs to me.

  • It actually belongs to everbodys favorite prop comic Carrot Top!

  • That belongs to ATA on a military flight R&R to and from the Middle East.

  • The plane is an Lockheed L-1011. It's the Lockheed

version of the McDonnell Douglas DC-10.

  • Which one do you prefer? I say the Tristar, it's rarer, but i've still flown 4 times on one...

  • It is not a McDonnell Douglas...thaough it may look lik a DC 10 because of that engine on top. It is a Lockheed Martin TriStar. The mysteriousness is mainly because it is not really sure which company this airplane belongs to.

  • Mystery plane? Looks like a DC-10 to me!
