Mrs Robison seems much too subtle to attract such attention, but I think she meditates a need, or also her voice as a writer is attractive, an echo-chamber for reader's lives. I read Home first, then Gilead, strangely I still think this is the right succession. Much in Gilead came as a surprize to me. but seemed utterly logical and then deepening the tradgedy but also the darned beauty of such an awfull tale.

just finished reading home thoroughly recommend it robinson is one of all time favourite writers; what a tragedy that newman never got to play ames, also think martin landau would be good...
