Everywhere I look it says to get Jak, beat Jak. The thing is, I've beaten all the people in vs mode on hard and he never showed up? In tournaments I'm ranked as a major. What gives? Does it matter that I used pinch hit coupons to defeat a lot of the hard mode people in vs mode? I have all characters but there are 2 empty slots which i assume are for jak and dexter. i'd love to figure out how to get them!

If I remember correctly, he's 'hidden' (not blatantly visible like the others), and appears if you aim the cursor over the Atlantic Ocean on the globe. Ratchet appears near the same area. I wouldn't think using the coupons affects their showing up.

(Daxter is a caddy; you can't actually golf with him. Although it would be funny to see him using the clubs... =P)

Actually, if you look at the box art and all other spellings involving the game (store listings, etc.), they spell it 'fore', to fit with the golf theme.

This game was released, I believe, in late '04, around the time of Jak 3. I can't quite recall, but I believe it was said in an interview that they had thought about Jak X while finishing Jak 3, but I'll have to find it. If so, that's probably the game they were referring to. Although it might have just been put in as a joke; I'm not sure... But 'The Lost Frontier' is still a rumor, and it hasn't been 100% confirmed. Hopefully it will be at E3 this year.
