  • mines so old it turned green...

  • nice arpeggios, its yours??

  • HILLEL SLOVAK !!

  • how much is that boss chorus ce-2 I´m planning to buy one

  • LOLz at the Boss hater... Anyway I've had one for 20 years now and I've 'upgraded' my chorus sound several times and have always come back to my stock CE-2. Compact, simple and always ready to go with that beautiful swirl. I'd pay top dollar ebay prices if mine ever died.

  • sounds great:)

  • I have one and Im happy

  • @FluffChop All Boss pedals suck ass . Boss made only one decent chorus , the DC-2 . Let's just say that the hype about made in japan Boss pedals is freakin' hilarious . I'm getting rid of all my boss pedals , including DC-2 , cause they are NOT legendary . Whatever what people say , No Boss pedal is worth 500 $ on Ebay .

  • I have to get one of these

  • @monkeyxx Good luck, they are rare!

  • What chords are you playing?

  • arpeggios beautiful man

  • anyone know the differnce from the (boss chorus bass ceb3) to the tradtional boss chrous poedal? I have the bass version and it just doesnt sound the way i think it should

  • nice demo!

  • Excuse me for asking, but waht are the first 2 chords you use at the beginning of this video?

  • @robpm9996 taking a guess here - Fmaj7/C ( x 3 3 2 1 0) & Cmaj7/G ( 3 3 2 0 0 0 )

  • Recently I bought Hardwire CR-7 Chorus, but when I heard CE-2 I doubt in rightness of that choice.

  • I have an '83 M.I.J. model. Great analogue chorus pedal. I like the way you did your demo. No nonsense!

  • hillel also used this pedal in the 80s sicc pedal!!!

  • i've heard boss pedals "tone suck" your guitar. is that true?

  • @ghsr82

I use the Boss DD-3 Delay sometimes, and yeah it does.

I can't say that for any of the other Boss pedals, though. Haven't tried them.

  • @ghsr82

    No

  • @ghsr82

That's one of those catch phrases with no real explanation. Unless the person can be specific and say exactly what they mean, it's a stupid term that means nothing.

  • @ghsr82 compressor/sustainer does.

  • VOX AC-30 FTW

  • Yeah dude,

What are the first 2 chords?

  • @FluffChop Ha-ha.

  • I usually hate chorus, but this pedal sounds beautiful.

  • is this the pedal used to play the end of the 'to a friend' song by Alexisonfire??

  • love the chords! can you tell me what they are? different tuning?

  • is there a mod to increase the depth of the effect?

  • Did you play Coming around again at some point?

  • Fine.

    What chords 1:38 - 1:52?

  • @FluffChop - Funny!

  • @Fuzzbot71 lol

  • The boss CE-3 is pretty rad too guys.

  • @elmo696 "rad" as in a hideous loss of bass response combined with an icy coldness.

  • What amp are you using? It looks like a Vox!

  • what is that song that you play?

  • I am thinking of getting one of these, are they good??

  • the old danelectro coolcats are the best but harder to find

  • actually they are the best chorus, but i think they stop making this, and you can only buy it used. but you can get the same sound result with the Modtone MT-CH.

  • LOL, comparing this chorus with a Modtone Aqua Chorus is like comparing a Volvo 440 with a Porche Carrera. I bought a Modtone Aqua Chorus (MT-CH) last week, went back to the store with it two days after. The lack of treble when you had it plugged in was ridicolous. It was like putting two big cloths over the amp. And despite that, the chorus wasn't great at all either, it was hard to find a sound that excited me.

  • it was the best chorus.

  • @davidontherocks True dat.

  • @davidontherocks I got one of those, too. Another feature they don't tell you about in the brochure is that it's a hiss generator. If it's too quiet in the room, you can step on the Modtone Aqua Chorus and fill the air with some ambient hiss. Everyone in the bar will leave to make sure their tires aren't going flat.

  • its the exact same pedal david gilmour uses

  • @BottleCapsound

    Oh, thank god.

I wanna sound like pink floyd! Where's Cornish at!?

  • sounds like a chorus with distortion

  • It boosts mids quite a lot when engaged. That gives that slight distorted feeling, depending on your amp's setting, of course....

  • @seanlateralus Its the sound quality that's making it sound like its distorted.

  • @Quakelord1991 - the distortion is coming from the amp which is slightly dirty.

  • @seanlateralus maybe he used some fuzz or he turned all knobs to maximum

  • does the chorus pedal sound good with distortion? ive only heard the clean channel.
