This is fantastic footage.I used to work with colin in glasgow many years ago and just heard what happend to him my heart is greatly saddend by this.He was the best pal i had may his legacy live on forever

I went to school with Colin and this is the first time that I have seen this video I didnt realise that he passed away the same year as my dad did (as nobody told me so that was a shock) He was a fantastic Guy then and Im quite sure he was fantastic right up till the end. A great tribute to colin .

I remember meeting this guy down at the park. He has left the people of Pollok a legacy. Plus the fact this is where it all started for the great wee Rosie Kane. Now wee have Save Pollok Park campaign, Colin would be proud.

Stratslayer, assumes that humankind are not the architects of their own destiny because they are controlled by "nature".But man has evolved beyond the constraints of his enviroment to become masters of this very enviroment.This means that now Humankind must exercise responsibility.Obviously something you would be quite happy to wash your hands of.

Colin MacLeod,who knew the seriousness of the responsibilities that he tried to instill in all of us for a better healthier and safer world.

I was at faslane as a child with my parent's who were friends with Colin he was really nice and funny, I can remember him playing the drums with me. He had a lot of time for children. Faslane has gave me great memories of my childhood and I will never forget it. haha I can even remember the big pot's of soup that were made without any stock not soo good. Funny how someone can stay in your mined just shows what a great character he was.

I know that Collin and those like him mean well...but at the base logic level they are all ignorant. ...MAN....IS....NATURE...and what we build and do and live like and make better and mess up and war against and envy and lust for...all our charity...all our greed and ALL of our "good" and "bad" are ALL N A T U R E. We have just as much right to be and live as humans as does ANY other part of nature. Collin was fighting human nature. Those who do the same will, thankfully, always...... lose.

Take your kids out for a walk in the woods, show them the wonders and creativity of nature and how, despite the fact that things have to die, life continues to evolve and keep us all living. They will thank you for it in the future, its not all about guns and money.
