"right above that is an option that says Texture Filtering LOD bias(DX9)- here you can change from 3 to -3 just like in the video" - This setting doesn't exist in the NVIDIA Inspector software as a setting under the SWTOR Profile. Not sure where you got this information from. I sadly cannot find a way to make it -3 or -2.5 as indicated from your ATI tweaks.
Doesn't work for me, every time I open the game, either from the icon or thought Radeon Pro it doesn't work. Pro does give me the "No" Sign in my task bar.
This works but I think the game looks uglier with in some places like imperial fleet and static buildings. Gives you rough edges that needs to get toned down with more AA. But that starts taking a lot of GPU performance when playing with eyefinity.
@Marcus8958 I bet, im using -2.4 lod with x2 or x4msaa and im getting mostly 60+ fps still, 30-40 on the fleet. But with such a high resolution a eyefinity I can see u getting into the teens for sure. Time to go get a 7970 :D
I cant seem to get radeonpro to detect my SWTOR.exe, i added it as you explained, including the launcher, and it doesnt detect it even when launched from radeon pro.
I've tried using the launcher as the exe, or adding it as an alias, but it holds it a few seconds before the launcher executes and then loses it again.
This way they created it is also a nightmare to running it on steam >=(
Is there anything I may have done wrong to get it working?
@mupp33n Thats about it. but it takes the game from meh to umm this looks ok I guess. And considering it doesnt really tax your system there is no reason not to do this, better quality is better quality, no matter how u get it
OMFG he's right I took no hit in performance. And the Imp fleet floors look like wet glass now, almost like an oily mirror or something its freaking stunning......
@Quicksh0tHD Ok, Ill bite. Like who? There was one dev from War (I believe war) and he said the budget was 300million, which was completely false therefore anything he said cannot be taken as credible. I have not heard of Bioware being shutdown if thats what you mean, nor any Bio devs coming out and saying that. I am really interested now.
Much better spots on the past 2 videos bro. I heard with this tweaks you greatly increase floor reflection quality, could you try a short video inside a cantina, station or some indoors to check that out?. Now only the horrible textures for npc's are missing, but that's on bioware.
Armor still looks like shit. Until they put back what we payed for and what we have in beta, this behavior of Bioware does not deserve 15$ a month. With skill lag, bugged quests, bugged instances aka flashpoints, bosses that does not drop any loot... In fact, I blame EA for rushing this beautiful IP in stores.
How do you even access the Star Wars old republiic profile/or my Nvida profile thing too?

@PowerIsOwnage Use Nvidia inspector for the LOD modification ;)

@DSLDARTH Your doing something wrong. Dont launch the game through radeon pro, just leave it in the background and launch normally

@Quicksh0tHD Hi, maybe its just me, but is your grass draw distance higher than the normal max?
Thanks for this btw, love it :)

Nevermind, seems it may be due to having 12.1 ATI drivers, i'll give it a better look and change to the 11.9 cap4 if need be.
Ckererec 1 month ago
@Ckererec 11.9 driver with 11.9 cap4 profile. dont use cap4 11.9 with the 12.1 drivers

I tried this with my EVGA 560 SC 290.53 drivers using 1.9.5.9 inspector and all it does is make everything blurry like the textures haven't loaded.

How did you pay for something in beta? If they took it out in beta that's part of the reason you have a beta...
