@mrhudson405 Unless you put a larger barrel on it you would have a SBR which is not legal everywhere and usually requires a tax stamp. The proplem is you then can not convert it back to a pistol. As far as I know you can't do that anywhere.

@Gorbachev Exactly how is it pointless. They are used for groundhogs, birds, and squirrel. Also very handy for long distance pistol competitions. This gun uses the MOST popular MOST widley sold action in the US. Hell even the Isreali military uses them. I guess we have different definitions of pointless.

A .22LR bullet can reach up to 1200 fps at 100 yards and 1000 yards at 200 yards. They are powerful little bullets, but have virtually no recoil.

ehh it really depends on where you're hit. the most effective is this : 3 guys hold 1 guy, pull his pants down and put the barrel of the 22 up his ass, the colon works as a silencer (use subsonic ammo) the bullet will ricochet inside the body cavity, shredding organs. shoot someone 100 yrds away and i wouldn't count on a casualty

I THINK it can, just make sure to put a full length rifle barrel on it FIRST. You can not, however, go from a rifle(10/22) to a handgun.

Almost positive it's a no-go here in CA.  State law prohibits semi auto pistols that accept a magazine outside of the pistol grip.
