beautiful horse, well taken care of. horse just wasnt sure of that.. thing :] i had a horse that used to be afraid of handicapped road signs. wouldnt go near them! with a little training he was fine thoug.
@Amb3lica THanks! and yeah, sometimes the least little thing will bother them. Have a real sensible mare, but once she refused to pass closely to a fake-deer arrow target, or a rock which had a blanket spread over the top of it!
@ottopasquier Honestly what is YOUR point of being so rude and critical? I'm pretty sure that people who have owned horses for 19 years DO have pretty good concepts of horses. We have no problem with exposing our horses to new things all the time. And the boy's sister in Belgium was getting to see them. What's the big deal?
@ottopasquier -There is no reason to react like that, they are having fun trying to show the girl on the laptop the horse. The horse is scared and they are probably trying to desensitize the horse to the laptop. Hell I do this to my horse all the time! If he's scared of something I make him approach it, if he backs up I make him re-approach it. It's showing the horse he has nothing to be scared of. I'm guessing your horses are shut ins afraid of the wind since you're so critical of this!
the horses at my barn constantly spook at the ducks even though the ducks have been there for like 5 yeArs
