  • I just trimmed the song so that when I set it as my alarm alert tone it sounds just like the movie... :)

  • 'I Got you, Babe' by Sonny and Cher.

    God I'm old.

  • Does anyone else wish this could happen to them?

I definitely do, my life sucks, and I have no confidence, I can't even get myself to speak to the girl I like at school - but this would solve my problems, after the first 3 days I would do what I wanted.

  • Can sb tell me the name pf this song?

  • I wish I was in a Groundhog day! That way I could kill my cheating ex and her boyfriend everyday in many different and imaginitive ways without ever being arrested for it!!! XD

  • look on the bright side phil,it could be the chris moyles show every morning agh !

  • 0:56

  • that was a wierd but very good movie

  • my friend's dad is one of the voices on that radio

  • don't mess with me porkchop hahahaha

  • gosh still one of my favorite movies ever :D

  • kindve sums up my life.....had that slow clock moment.......twic ein my life trust me.....u wouldnt make it.......if it happpened perhaps one more time then that :/.......or would u ....shit!

  • 7:41 Creepy giant clock

  • I thought this was Groundhog Gay, where he keeps waking up to YMCA next to Freddie Mercury

  • According to the writer's of the movie Phil relives this day for ten years. And in the original draft of the scrit it was much longer and Rita was sharing the adventure with him.

  • @Irishknightable Ten Thousand years in the original draft. Whenever I think of it , I get goosebumps.

  • @WTAWWR08 Why? Well I guess after 10,00 years it would be boring ...

  • Bill Murray Disliked the Video.

  • LOL @ people thinking they know about physics on groundhog day youtube video.

  • How it should have ended...

  • The the thing is , hes lagging

  • I believe that every day was actually an alternate reality. Phil was able to experience himself through parallel dimensions. Physics is on the verge of discovering these other dimensions, these infinite probabilities that exist at every moment, branching out to become new timelines and universes. At times of great importance, you can sense yourself standing at a fulcrum of possibilities. You can almost see the different paths ahead but you can only choose one. If it can happen, it will happen.

  • @TheGrinninMan I believe infinite probabilities are solely because we do not know the exact location of a particle. Because there are an infinite number of routes there will be an infinite number of probabilities. But that doesnt go to say that a particle uses all these routes

  • 1:03

one of the best "what the Hell?" in cinema history.

  • Nicely done, but you should have included some more, like:

    -steals the bag

    -stuffs his face

    -jeopardy

  • ·1 dont like" this movie = 1 person livin for 2nd day the "Groundhog Day" XD..XD..XD..XD

  • I've read the script writer intended for this movie to have a dark meaning, but the makers of the movie tried to put a positive spin on it for the masses. It would have been interesting to see what the original movie would have looked like before the test audiences changed it.

  • This is a Real ill concept

  • Groundhog dislikes this :)

  • Did anyone else think the alarm clock song sounded like Bob dylan? I had to look it up and then figure out that it wasn't but it sounds just like his nasally voice.

  • @cKunke2 yeah, it does soung like his voice. Except for one thing: Bob Dylan would never sing anything that "happy".

  • @Brandt761 True, true.

  • @cKunke2 Lol I know exactly what you mean...I think he usually makes the same type of sound on his songs as the first sound we hear, every time the alarm call kicks in haha

  • 97:37 felt poetic in the movie thanks to the music.

  • Kill Ned Ryarson.

  • Phil has a day over and over and over and again lol!!! ^

  • I know it's comedy, but this film has an undercurrent of horror in it that makes me more uneasy than any of the Saw torture porn.

  • 5:42 "NED?!" *smack* hahahah

  • 1:06 BILL MURRAY IS NOT AMMUSED! O.o

  • SOURCE CODE WITH HUMOR

  • Bill Murray...best actor in the world?

  • Phil Conners!!! Ned?! SMACK!!! LMAO!!!

  • Funniest movie ever, everytime i watch it, it still makes me laugh!

  • I've seen this movie before and it is amazing!

  • I seriously wouldve banged every hot chick in that town.

  • Such an awesome movie. I am putting the first 30 seconds as my wake up ringtone on my iPhone....its going to be badass.

  • Love this movie.. if this day (Ground hog day, 2011) repeats itself, I'll do some self-improvement... and study for my exam in one day and be ready for my exam.. LOL.

  • I have the song on my clock because I like this movie.

  • Were those old alarm clocks still around in '93?! I thought they were all digital by then. That's 70s technology.

  • @Davez621 it's not a very up-to-date town

  • This script was one of the most brilliant ver written. And Bill is just THE guy.

  • the whole point of the movie is to give the message of taking the first step to doing something great/ what you want. as soon as he makes the first step of getting with the woman he snaps out of it.

  • my favourite movie!!:)

  • thats an exclent movie of Bill Muray.i love it when i saw first time :D

  • That's right. Take it out on the clock. lol

  • they sure trashed many radios during the movie :D

  • Classic scene. The second Morning at the alarm clock. Sonny and Cher is now on my Cell Phone.

  • howard brown

  • how is the whole town supposed to be up at 6am

  • @vgtr4 duuuhh groundhog day./.

  • @luispihormiguero poor clock...

That's one of the most memorable things in this movie. I loved that bit!

  • 5:44 and 5:53 PWNED ROFL

  • Compassion? Whatever. But still, it does give an example of Samsara. He should have just built a time machine or something.

  • This was the most Buddhist movie ever made ... it perfectly illustrates the cycle of Samsara - the endless cycle of birth-death-rebirth ... and shows that nirvana can only be achieved through compassion!

  • @buddmar Wow, I never thought the movie to be that deep. I guess I should watch it again and get the message as I'm laughing myself silly.

  • @buddmar i think is more like about a game theory is like try n fail like what he did with the other girls he just knew what not to do cuz he tryed before n makes mistakes before look is like this watch?v=HCinK2PUfyk&feature=related

  • @buddmar Cool, I look at it from a religious point of view myself :)

  • "I Got You Babe" is my alarm clock because of this movie....

  • @HesitantEvil yeah i was actually thinking of doing that

  • @HesitantEvil Do you destroy the clock a different way every day?

  • Shouldn't he have missed Ned on the 3rd day where he left the hotel without breakfast?

  • clever

  • totally hilarious funny film:))))

  • Yep, tis my life lol :-) thanks for the share mark, 5* for sure :-)x

  • hey friends do you know this song please help me ı wanna find this song thanks...

  • i got you babe by sonny and cher

  • that was great the way you stuck all the wake up scenes together.... i did not realize exactly how many times they showed the 6AM scene... there were many more days when it was not shown,,, they say he spent several years doing that day over and over... after the suicides came the turning point when he learned to help others instead of manipulating or despairing....

  • Yeah Harold Ramis said it was originally 10,000 years or even much longer like he would read a page of a book each day and by the end he would have read the entiure library lol but in the end it was more like 10 years which is probably how long it would take him to get that good on the piano.

  • evrytime i wake up for work when it is cold outside i feel as if im in this movie

  • totally awesome!

    don't forget your booties
