@demmymae - it can make a difference depending on what you're playing. Long nails can get in the way and throw you off position (especially on more difficult pieces). If you love your nails keep them. But also know you'd probably be better in the long run with short nails.
I am playing the piano without formal lessons. I've learned to play my own from following my simple skills in guitar without notes but only chords. I don't even know how to read music notes. But now that I discovered your "Get Piano Lessons" in YOU TUBE, I subscribe and started to study your lessons from lesson #1 part 1 and now I'm very very glad I can play lesson #4 of part 1 in two days. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise to everyone around the world...Abner in Manila Philippines.
I am planning on going to music school and I am taking your lessons to be ready for my piano classes in the fall, if you have any more advises I would really appreciate it. But still thank you very much for these lessons, God bless!
Brilliant tutorials! I've been following and practicing your other tutorials from the beginning. Happy holidays to you too and thanks again for your help. Any newcomers who want to learn to play should start at the begining. This guy makes learning really easy and pleasurable. You'll learn in no time. This is just a great way of learning and its doesn't take long before you realise how his method cleverly connects your brain to your finger placement.
popout886, its easy if you start from his very first video lesson and patiently work your way throught them. I guarantee you'll play this very easily. Its like everything else, it takes a little time and practice
I've started from the beginning and I'm now @ this vid! Thank you very much for your effort to make the video's!
