I wish they would ban football the extra police and these fights over teams is a fucking a joke and costs a bloody fortune and wastes my taxpayers money thank god we didnt get the world cup
Seven guys beat up a large fella who's alone, nobody charged with an offence. In a different episode, an elderly fella IS charged and jailed for carrying a lock-knife. I'd say he may have needed it to scale mullet and/or to avoid potential brain damage and seemed like a non starter where wanton thuggery is concerned. Do any cops today receive training as to discretion regarding fear of unprovoked attack and steps {albeit sometimes unlawful} taken by people to protect themselves ? Book 'im Danno.
I'm sure as much as they would have liked to nick them, they couldn't have because there wasn't enough evidence whereas the elderly man was clearly breaking the law.
another programme showing the great work of r emegency services .
andwho ever thouguth it was over the top to cut the car im sureu woldntmoan if it was you they cut out or would u rather they dragedu out and causedu furth injury. sum people keep up the good work lads .
so lets get this straight, they arrest someone for carrying a fridge. They cut someone out of a car who later is released without injuries. They arrest 'speeders' doing 31mph. Welcome to the police state......
@WTU208 1) It was a washing machine. The three arrested were known locally as prolific burglers and they had items i.e. wire which people were stealing left right and centre in the area. 2) The decision to cut a casualty out of a car is NEVER made by a police officer, always by a paramedic or mobile doctor so that actually has nothing to do with a police state. Better safe than sorry. 3) Yes, 31mph - in a 20 mph zone. Its 20 for a reason.
@dontevenstartme They still wrongly arrested someone - for a having a fridge in a van - please. Cutting someone out of a car that hadn't even rolled over (ok it wasn't the police - but pathetic anyway) 20 mph speedlimits are fascism 31mph is not speeding- sorry. Don't even start me on the poor guy from France.
@WTU208 A day after I first watched this I got stopped in my van at Stansted Airport. The checks on me and my van proved to be ok, but in front of me was a family being told that their insurance didn't cover them on the UK roads and they confiscated the car leaving them at the side of the road. It wasn't as if these people had got no insurance at all it was that they had been told their insurance covered them inthe UK. You can only act on what you are told.
@WTU208 if you listen to wat was said they are all well no thiefs and it looked dodgy and the cutting out of the car is always done if they think its needed it helps to prevent futher injury from unneeded and un wanted momvent
@dinger3123 They didn't even ask the woman if she was able to get out of the car. She was released from hospital with no injuries. I wouldn't want a numpty like that needlessly cutting me out of a car after a minor bump. Keep up the good work - I wouldn't like to see bad work.
@emptyangel You are more than welcome to have your car car cut up after a minor bump. Yes both services appear to have a good degree of incompetence if you want to nit pick.
If your driving a car in the UK but live in France and the car is insured in France then you have to get UK insurance too...?
What the hell?
Does that mean if your going to drive to Amsterdam you need Dutch, French and English insurance?
Le insurance scam de UK monsieur...
And catching 600 people doing 30 in a 20 mph zone says one thing, and one thing only... there is not enough frikkin' signs Muppet!!.... Moralize all you want, you may as well just be mugging people....
I feel so sorry for the girl with corsa, I bet she saved her money so hard. for tht car.. And they just cut it in half :( on the other hand its her life that is more important ;)) Hope she gets back on the road okay!!!

@WTU208
You obviously haven't the slightest clue what kind of serious injuries may occur in what may seem like minor accidents.
Given the circumstances, the paramedic made the right call. I'd rather lose my car than be paralysed for my whole life.
Also, I don't appreciate how you attack the ambulance service and police as if they were the same thing.

@pixiniarts The car is still registered in the UK. If the guy had registered it in France and it had French plates then he would have been let off.
But yeah the police are all about making money off drivers
