@bigodimples18 shit yeahh hestill got it one time he showed me a lock i almost suffocated ~~ i m happy to find a teacher like him he has lot of patience and friendly i hope someday i mihgt be good as him
Everything in this video is pretty awesome, except I feel like there's one thing lacking (albeit, I did not listen to the dialogue in the beginning, when it comes to MA videos, I'm a big fan of "show not tell"), and that is a more "realistic" approach to the padwork. However, again, I maybe the stationary behavior was intended.
Hey archulo69...make a vid of yourself then, show him how its done...seriously. If you feel you have the skill to make such a comment then you need to back it up.
Kru Walt is a 7 time belt holder in different organizations including the UWMTA. He has also competed and won in Thailand on national television. Kru Walt still trains in Thailand at least once a year and often has Muay Thai greats at his gym in Pasadena for seminars such as Gongtalanee and Samart Payakaroon, considered by many to be two of the greatest Muay Thai fighters of all time.
No Disrespect But Yeah I Don't care How Revered This Guy Is If You Observe Carefully There is No Technique In His Knees,Punches Or kicks I'm Pretty Sure he Will kick My Ass
@archulo69 Actually, there are variations to the thai kick and the one he's using in the video is just one of them. Here in the United States, coaches usually teach just two. There's the chopping thai kick and the diagonal that goes up at a 45 degree angle and you stand tall as you kick. The other variations are combinations between a kick and a knee so that the kick won't get smothered in close range. Walter teaches traditional muay thai.
You noobs realize that Walt is a six-time MT world champion, right? This drill is clearly designed more for increasing stamina, rather than tightening up technique.
@blitzkriegweeg1 LOL!!! I love when people critisize some of the best fighters of all time. Its really quite amusing. and no sir, you are definately the pathetic one here
iv got this video on tape and have tried this training excerise out on a class, and yes its a killer..couple of good tips thou, last comment about his hands ,yeah i agree...
I started to do this as a burn at the end of my training after I saw this video a couple years ago. It's no joke. Kicks your ass.

@Ronnock Yeah, this is just for a stamina drill. Just to burn you out. Great for the end of a workout.

My teacher had us do a lot of drills like this. Balls to the wall. Just holding the pads after a few rounds gets tough.

A coach/trainer should learn how to punch properly himself before attempting to teach others. The puches he throws are pathetic!

I think you are pathetic, his punches are fine, SITYODTONG Muay Thai GYM is bad ass, I would like to see you do that drill!!!
