Not for nothing but does anyone else notice that C30-7 # 7087 lacks ditch light on her rear and i was thinking this is not FRA correct??????????? Unless someone can tell me different.
@modeltrainman12345 They could theoretically, but the engine would only have enough water to make it there and back, and would take like a half hour to fill up back at New Hope. The other issue is that they run such tight schedules, that the engine wouldn't have time to refuel. Coal wouldn't be an issue, she holds 8 tons I think. On charters they can get away with getting a water truck or using one of their old tank cars as a water bottle, since they'd have the time to fill the tender.
Did I Miss something or have I only done a fraction of this line from New Hope to Lahaska? Wycombe and other stations were on the ticket but it seemed to me this railroad was shorter than what I have seen in this vid? (ps I'm from England so forgive me for anything I may have missed) P.S, $25 was a bit steep for a ride "1st class" on this line compared to a preserved line in the UK for treble the distance behind steam.
Hello I am going to suggest another tourist railroad thats the pine creek railroad (Narrow Gauge) in Allaire State park in NJ will u think about going??? Cause they even have CABRIDES it is cool!!!
@trainfann1 I'm going to suggest that you stop TELLING me to go to this railroad. I know of it and I'm not wasting a day out to go see a 20-ton 2-foot gauge engine pull around some rinky-dink cars. Maybe if they gey their steam engine running, I will go up and see it. Until then, I have no interest in the place, even if they offer CABRIDES!!!!!!!!
What happened to the steam engine?

@TJBV08 They run under 25MPH, therefore they don't need ditchlights.
