Seems like only yesterday I put most of the boards up on the ballroom windows!
The chalet next to the amusement arcade was our tearoom, the small booth in the centre was the photographers with the shop on the left, the entrance to the bar/ballroom straight ahead. Many a morning spent buffing the dance floor!Used to take 2 hours to cut the field with a small kubota tractor!Rubbish collection was done every morning from 10am til 12 & i used to get moaned at for racing the tractor at max speed 7mph!
our one & only family hol in 1978. I have great memories of Fort Warden at that time, & am wondering if there is a way of obtaining footage from around that time? Thanks for the memories
