  • la mort... xD

  • YES!

    \m/

  • Man, we had this album in the late 70's, and there was this song that went "I am, I am, I am to come I was" and that is the only thing I remember beyond it freaking me out! Post more if you want!!!! Thanks!

  • @SuperSug2000 You are thinking of 666 by Aphrodite's Child

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperSug2000 , That is from the Aphrodite's Child album "666." The song is the infinity sign. I was turned onto it in the late 80s. You may have heard of Vangelis. He is in the group. I hope you can find it on You Tube.

  • Wow, this can be found here also ..

    Amazing

  • Found this at a flea market last year for $1,never thought I'd find this much less for $1 got lucky

  • I used to have this album a long time ago, but it seems that the cover was different (I think?). I do remembrer that maybe the back of the album had a picture of Baphomet in the pentagram on it. I would like to find a cd of this.

  • One day back in the late 70s, after watching a horror movie marathon, my Dad and I had a brief conversation about how thematic electronic music was... a few days later he gave me this album along with Walter/Wendy Carlos' Switched On Bach... great moody stuff... Thanks Dad.

  • Mort the Moog God!!!!! This album totally captures the 70's electronic vibe.

  • i bought this for 99cents on vinyl it has a prodigy sample on it

  • @veuvecliquot Do you mean the prodigy sampled it?

  • @pencildives yeah the voodoo song if i recall correctly

  • @veuvecliquot

    huh?

where did you get this for 99 cents and did the band PRODIGY sample it?

  • @TEMPmichaelhansen at a thrift store in the LES NYC . the prodigy sample a voice from another song on the album the name of which i dont remember i dont think its on utube

  • @veuvecliquot I did too, friend! Had it when i was in high school & played it a LOT in my room with the lights off doing my homework with one small red light on the page on the floor. Used it too as background for halloween when kids would come to the door for trick or treat & Id have sheets covering all furniture, & i was dressed as a horrific vampyre woman back from 73 to 76.

  • Oh my gawd! I used to have teh vinyl in the early 70s. I've been looking for it ever since. I think this album is brilliant.

  • @RoadkillAU What did you do with your original copy?...

  • @KoivuTheHab it was lost during one of a number of house moves sometime before 1980. Sob.

  • @RoadkillAU Oh damn, sorry about that, I feel your pain!

  • @KoivuTheHab it's all good. We've got YouTube! And kind, generous people who upload the most amazing stuff from our deep, dark pasts.

  • Man this is waaay trippy! Do you guys know if this is available on cd? My dad gave me the vinyl of this record, but have no record player at the moment. :(

  • I purchased it on CD format through someone on Ebay!

  • @MsFiendy Forget the CD... Buying a record player is neither difficult nor expensive.

  • Get the record album. The song Ride of Aida Voodoo has these weird swirls through the whole song on the album. On the actual wax.Check it out man.I know this lp was done by Mort Garson but this definetly had Satans imprint on it. Even if the album cover has clouds and lambs on it the music is still sinister as hell. Love it though. When the hells it coming out on cd? Remember for those who havent had the album search it out to see the swirls. Its unique.

  • This was done with a mellotron. No one could play like he does on this recording. Thank you!

  • what cult you fools --Mort Garson at his powers- the first to purchase a moog --and Moog america through radio television and movies includig the first men on the moon !! do a minutes worth of research before you make any rash statements - enjoy the master at work

  • Alas not, but the priest decorated his basement in total black with an altar with a goat of mendes symbol over it. his parents, churchgoers, were ok with it. we also used pink floyd's 'sysyphus' alot. at the time were all about 18. good luck in your magikal persuits, but be careful.

  • I have this on vinyl. This album is just too cool.

  • My mother played this when I was a kid, especially around Halloween before we'd all go to the cemetery in Stull, KS. The joys of odd parenting in the 70's.

  • Your mom must be really cool. I wish my parents were into this kinda stuff growing up. Hell, I was taught that bringing Black Sabbath LP's into the house was actually bringing the devil in too. A shame how primitive society can be.

  • @moderatrix

in fact this is a freak out influence...this is way before my time...my mom was listening to french chansons....

  • That change in the middle of the song catches you by surprise. its addicting.

  • HEY TRY "8-track of the Moment - August, 2000" type this in on a search engine...

  • we had a magic cult in scituate ri in 1972 and used this album for our rituals. the 'radiant vortex' will return some day! o busidire! O Caraxo! 2012!

  • Is the cult still active?

  • do you have photos of the cult in action? I wish I could have seen all that weird stuff in the seventies.j I was born in 71

  • Please this cut is the ulimate!!...I've looked for 3 forever's for this thanks for who ever posted it here..... ty ty ty ty

  • man, I haven't heard this in decades.

I remember being stoned out of my mind,

listening to this over and over in the early 70s.

    good times...

  • "8 track heaven" websight has this on 8 track...

i got a copy on vinyl from ebay

    this is good

  • I wish you'd post 'Ride of Aiida'!

  • Is it available on CD? I'm a fucking heretic. I want it.

  • There's a vinyl lp for $100.00 on Amazon.

  • look for cd

but i found a vinyl on ebay

and downloaded this to my IPOD...for free but still...

  • most beautiful synth ever. must be moog cause I used to own the album.

  • 1970, Dick Hyman disappeared, Walter/Wendy Carlos were going through a change if you know what I mean, Robert Margoloff and Malcolm Ceceil were the advance design and music team of the time having just brought T.O.N.T.O to life (Jimmy Hendrix and Stevie Wonder albums were produced in 71 & 72 along with 2 of their own.

  • I loved this album back in '76 and have been trying to get a copy ever since - whenever I remember it, that is. Thanks fror sharing the memories...

  • all the way back...¿¿¿...into the daze...wicked daze too

  • sounds ahead of its time, more like 1976/78 than 71. cool though

  • Holy shittttt. I have this record in my room. I completely forgot about it.
