I am actually not sure weather the government did or did not, but I have heard that they planned it to make an excuse to go into Iraq, but I doubt that. I believe that the terrororists attacked the World Trade Center because the American Government weren't treating them the way they wanted to be treated and I am seeing both sides of the perspective. It wouldn't be that interesting if the US government bombed the world trade center, so I don't really believe that they did.
