i have the same pups and they are quiet if you have a well shielded pick guard and a building with normal interference only notice the hum when overdriven in the 1-3-5 pickup positions but on the 2 and 4 positions i dont
These are the Austin Blues. I have bad grounding in the building, and an unshielded guitar. They are as noisy as I would expect any single coil to be. They are nice and quiet in the in-between positions. They are great sounding pickups, so I can't fault them for a bad ground loop and EMF in my home creating a little 60 cycle hum. @1273seant

These pickups are very quiet for not being "noiseless." It must be his wiring and interference.

dude. sheild that guy! The right foil tape is fairly cheap and it will make a huge difference.
