  • i have the same pups and they are quiet if you have a well shielded pick guard and a building with normal interference only notice the hum when overdriven in the 1-3-5 pickup positions but on the 2 and 4 positions i dont

  • These pickups are very quiet for not being "noiseless." It must be his wiring and interference.

  • dude. sheild that guy! The right foil tape is fairly cheap and it will make a huge difference.

  • These are the Austin Blues. I have bad grounding in the building, and an unshielded guitar. They are as noisy as I would expect any single coil to be. They are nice and quiet in the in-between positions. They are great sounding pickups, so I can't fault them for a bad ground loop and EMF in my home creating a little 60 cycle hum. @1273seant
