@MsVlada97 'Just like that, always like that' conveys the same message. The original line isn't 'Same old shit' anyways. It's 'Sore Bakka', which translates to 'Nothing but idiots'. The meaning is the same, but if she wanted to MATCH the original lyrics, it would be something more like 'Everyone's a fool, Everyone's a fool'. And I'm sure that wouldn't fit the songs tempo.

It sounds so much better with the pitch lower! You didn't change the off-vocal pitch, though, right? Just adjusted your voice to a lower register?

If it isn't too difficult, could someone explain why you can get away with this trick(skill?) in some songs, but not all songs? I don't really understand how it's possible to change your pitch but keep the song the same - this songs works - but not with every song. Is there something I'm missing, or am I really missing the point here? Sorry!

@CryOfDeafeat In this video, the song is pitched up half a note I believe, so it is edited. My guess is that she transposed the song to better accomodate her voice (which is a good idea when you have trouble singing a song). It isn't possible to keep either the song or your voice the same, and change the other.
