what this video doesnt show is on the airport tarp or whatever you call it among the reporters they had 4 girls in bikinis waiting to greet the beatles.and the girls in bikinis had banners over them like miss america has.cant remember what they said but it was probably like miss miami and other small towns or cities.

The rumours were true...not only did they visit the police officer's house for dinner....they also stopped in at NMB junior High. Which caused a great stir.
Pictures are hanging up at the Hard Rock in Miami...of them at the Police Sgt home

I was 12-there were wild rumors in our school in NMB that they were going to stay at a local students house-to avoid the wild scenes at their MB hotel. I've kind of discounted them over the years-but know I hear from 3 facebook friends that they stayed at the MB chief of police's house who happened to live right down the block from us (162 st 8th ave NE NMB). it was kind of a pre-internet rumor that may have actually been true--I'm about 80% convinced-it was a very exciting day for all of usMia

God, I remember this day. I wanted to skip school and be there so badly! But, at 12 years old there wasn't much I could do about it. You knew who the lucky kids were -- they weren't in school that day!
