  • AMAZING!!!

  • then the cat will see the bowl and want to pee in there ...make sure its not a white bowl, or he will think the sink is the bowl and piss in there or piss in the bath tub.

who long do you have to watch the cat...it took him 7 months to get him to go up on the toilet.

    its frustrating.

  • I hope you don't plan on reusing that bowl...

  • the bowl..or colander..or the bowl...or the colander..or bowl..or colander...or the bowl....

  • @chilliplease....have fun with the water bill? More like have fun saving money on cat litter and more fun not cleaning out the litter box! If my water bill went up 15 dollars a month it would be well worth it not having to deal with a litter box. I hope I can train my cat. He's 3

  • Its so cute when he paws at the lid.

  • have fun with your higher water bill

  • My sister had a cat who fell into the toilet, and my sister had not yet flushed the toilet... I laughed so hard when i read it on facebook

  • i had no idea you could get a cat do pee in the toilet, EPIC!

  • HELP!! I follow all your steps and that was good except the last one, when I remove the litter of the bowl, my kitten holds pipi and avoids use the bowl even when it has a few litter. How do I have to make her feel comfortable without the litter?

  • U need a cat for this? awwwwwwww

  • Thank you so much for this video... i've had city kitty for about a week now and my cat will not get on to the toilet... thank you so much for the phone book idea!!!! <3

  • I taught my cat to suck my cock.

  • next step, teach it to apply the burying motion to the handle and flush.

  • it gonna take long time :(

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA that cat must have drank a 40 oz.

  • what if the cat falls in the toilet.

  • I would think if u moved 2 a new place it would just look 4 a toliet and go. I would show her where the toliet was though

  • lol

  • what if you move to a new place? do you have to start the process all over again since its a new toilet?

  • Spick and span bitch! 5:32

  • Lmao don't no y I though it was funny when kitty was takin a piss. Lol N' when it was bearing it with nothing

  • you just need to start again and place something over all drain pipes and close off shower, it wont take long the 2nd time around, start from the litter on the toilet, cats like the open drains because of the fresh water in them

  • @1soaringeagle1 you just need to start again and place something over all drain pipes and close off shower, it wont take long the 2nd time around, start from the litter on the toilet, cats like the open drains because of the fresh water in them

  • you just need to start again and place something over all drain pipes and close off shower, it wont take long the 2nd time around

  • Hi! i've tried this method with my cat an have reached step 3 - remove all the litter from the bowl, BUT HE JUST WON'T GO No 2 IN THERE! I've tried with litter on the side of the toilet, i've tried showing him over and over (the bowl is always clean) but he just doesn't want to. He goes in the shower... What should I do to convince him?

  • ahah hes pretending to cover up the pe with dirt ahaha so cute

  • so everytime i have 2 go i take away that crap....do my stuff...and when i get up...tape back everything on?

  • theres no more litter but she/he keep scratching :D

  • can you teach him to flush?

  • so cute

  • how the hell will normal human beings use the toilet then?

  • The Litter Kwitter from Petco (online) has different trays for each training stage. The trays securely hook under standard & long toilet seats. No duct tape! But awesome job with your makeshift system, looks like it saved you the $40 of the Litter Kwitter, but more importantly, seems to have worked for your kitty! ^_^ I have a HUGE cat (Maine Coon). If I did the duct tape version, he'd surely fall in! So far, the L.K. has been working. I installed it today & they've been using it w/out problems!

  • this video is not encouraging

  • Uummm... If im supposed to leave the sandbox ontop of the tiolet for a week, HOW THE HELL am i supposed to take a Piss?!?! \=[

  • You have a very nice bathroom, love the hardwood floor.... anyway thanks for tutorial, very well done! I will be trying this out for my cat!

  • @michaeljacksonfan791 and wipe its butt

  • Will oat bran work?

  • how long did it take for your cat?

  • 5:04 rocks

  • 25 sec of piss! what a new record!

  • what a long piss LOL 5:05

  • I have an older cat and she probably wont be able to do this, if i kept a litter box in the bathroom would the trained cat still use the toilet? or should i move the litter box to another room?

  • @AliciaKitty69 The idea is to totally REMOVE the litter box once your cat is trained. otherwise why bother? after the cat CAN use the toilet, why waste time or money providing a litter box?

  • Now teach him how to flush

  • He lieks to watch teh kitteh pee.

  • WHY IS THEIR RICEARONI IN MY COFFEEE!!!!!!!!

  • awesome job

  • but i dnt wanna pee in teh litter box :3 lol

  • In soviet russia, the cats trains you to use the toilet

  • wut happens wen u hav e to pee wen ur training the cat

  • @216CrAzY216 he is right how?

  • @216CrAzY216 You pee in the litterbox LOL

  • @216CrAzY216 LOL ah... itll be like having a boner, pee in the bath XD

  • wut happens wen u hav e to pee wen ur training the cat

  • Lol he said toilet over two times

  • That cat pee's for ever!

  • aww cat's habbit to covver their pee or poo hahaha so cute

  • @lovecandy95 its a hapbbit.. they cant help it :D

  • dang that was a long piss.

  • diang that was a long piss.

  • is this sanitary? does this increes the chance of disease spreading to humans, or thing like worms! ?

  • @leesasocool cats and dogs are actually cleaner than humans - even there. Remember, they lick themselves clean. :)

  • What if it wants to take a shit?

  • a white bowl would have been better.

  • @michaeljacksonfan791. You are not supposed to... Besides they dont have the brain capacity to reach up and push down. My friend did that to my cat and pushed the cats paw on the flush switch. Instead, the cat fell in the toilet..

  • @simlishcroft Maybe you should do a little research before discrediting the "brain capacity" of a cat. Even a simple YouTube search for 'cat flushes toilet' or 'cat flushing' provides numerous examples of a cats ability to flush a toilet.

  • @LaeLae901 there goes my theory hahahahahaha

  • It's hard to beat the litter box. I clean my cat's everyday. I hate it, but it's fool proof.

  • Part 2 - I have since moved, AGAIN, to a much smaller apt. w/ nowhere to keep the box. Right now, it's in the bathtub, which gets cleaned, disinfected & scooped 2x a day. It's a PAIN & w/ litter, it's expensive. So, I'm going to try it again. My cats are VERY laid back & accept change well. So, I don't think I'll have a problem at all. :) There is a contraption called "Litter Kwitter" that uses 4 different sized rings for the toilet & it's $50!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! LOL

  • Part 1 - The first cat in this video, Jack, looks annoyed that you're sticking a camera in his face instead of giving him ear scratches. LOL I used this method about 12 years ago with my cat (Shelbie, 13yr) and it worked great. In 2001, after I moved and got a kitten (Phoenix), that wasn't toilet trained, Shelbie thought to herself "If he doesn't use the toilet, why should I?" and she went back to using a box.

  • @michaeljacksonfan791 Lol, it would be best not to train them to flush. When a cat learns how to flush they enjoy it and decide to do it all the time!

  • Inevitably, you will have to sacrifice your toilet for a short period of time, and you may have to do your business in your other toilet sometimes, if you have two bathrooms. But just think, after a few of weeks (or monthes), you will never have to clean a litter box again! And you will save money by not having to buy kiity litter!

  • is it easier to train a female or male to do this ? or does it not make a difference??

  • kinda cool but what if comapny comes over and walks into the bathroom room to see a bunch of shit?

  • @kellymariecritchley People you know well would probably know your cat uses the bathroom. People you don't know shouldn't be just walking into random rooms in your home. When they ask "may I use the restroom?" you either direct them to another or tell them what to expect.

If they can't handle the fact that your cat takes a shit from time to time, let them turn 15 or so before inviting them to your house.

  • hey really helpful but i need help... my cat Eve craps beside my door leading outside to the garden (outside) if i were to train her to use the toilet, how would i get her to do her business in the liter tray anyway? thanks, Sean, England :)

  • Good morning,

J 'ai need d 'aide j 'espere that you are going to be able m 'aider.

J 'ai made as you for l 'apprentissage.

Except that my cat does not settle on it toilet, he stays in l 'interieur of the recipient.

Be able you to say to me how you made?

    Thank you

  • AhhH! well done kitty!

  • @michaeljacksonfan791 put sandpaper and pepper on the handle

  • um what if you need to use the bathroom

  • eww he forgot to flush!!!!

thx i succesfuly traind my cat to use the toilet thx :3

  • how would you do this if your cat stands up to pee?

  • You have a really clean toilet :O

  • How long do you think it'll take till I take the dish out like so my two kittys can Use the toilet;) without the dish?!

They use the towy with the dish ..

  • HAhHA the cat must be all like "what the..why is my kitty box higher all of a sudden" and then "WHAT THE...AGAIN?!"

  • Trust me. You don't want the cat to learn to flush the toilet. They enjoy it.

  • @DGandSO Haaaaaa This fella's probably right cats are big A-holes!

  • awww

  • Does your cat do both numbers in the toilet now or just pee?

  • I like your cats name :D it really fits him ^_____^

  • oh my god i have 2 moths teach to my cat go to the toilet and he dont want pee or poop without the bowl. i m start get stresss hahah.

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • LOL, it was so close to the flush..... it looked like Goliath was almost at it! xD

  • thank you vere much

  • Our neighbors had a siamese cat that liked to flush the toilet so that it could watch the water go down. They had to keep the bathroom door closed to keep the cat out because it wouldn't stop flushing.

  • @FRLN500 no why how cool

  • @FRLN500 hahaha, smart cat, that's so funny when i imagin it:D

  • wow i was just looking how to get my cat to crap in her litter box, this blew my mind!!

  • can you train a alley cat too?

  • funny how the scratching instinct is still there at the end?

  • the only thing that would have made this vid more awesome would have been if the cat actually flushed the toilt...which for a minute at the end i thought it was gonna happen.

  • great!

  • I'm trying this right now with my 3-year-old cat and so far it's working like a charm. Practically half way through the training process XD

  • Actually, scratch that. I had to stop since a certain someone in my house thinks that taking out and putting back the bowl is as hard as moving an entire mountain. Great ._.

  • Comment removed

  • He ALMOST flushed after peeing

  • just scratching like how they do with a litter box, it's a burying instinct.

  • ups i read: 'how to toilet drain your cat' ^^ that doesnt even make sense-.-

  • WTF NO LITTER

  • Thank you Golaia for this demonstration XD

  • wtf thats cool im going to show my buddy this vid his GF is always on his ass about cleaning the litter box

  • omg cutest thing ever at the end when hes on the toilet! so funny when he tried to 'cover' his pee by pawing the toliet seat and lid!

  • well i dont have any cat till now so iam going to buy soon after have a cat i will try this out

  • how cute!! when he tries to cover his pee with the sand!! LOL

  • i looooove how it tried to cover up the pee. hahaah!!! it was like scraping the seat..... CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!

  • one question....if the litter box will be on the toilet for 2 days to 1 week....how will we go toilet ? cant we just move the box and put it back or does it have to stay there without it moving

  • Thats so cool

  • lol...the end was sooo funny.

  • My cat flush the toilet :D

  • oh my days!

his formalness is so lame and cheesy!

  • omg thats hilarious

  • here a best way, when i was young my family and i had a cat it always watched us, so the cat trained itslef

  • I found a large flat bottom bowl in the baking section of the department store. This worked wonderfully.

  • lol we didnt need to see that close up... xD

  • it's easier to just buy a training kit like litterkwitter or citykitty, it worth the money rather than have to do all this

  • Those don't work if you have a larger cat. My cat fell through. He is not fat just very long and tall. I used this method and it worked fine because I had 2 bathrooms, which made it easier.

  • it wouldave been awsome if you could also train him to press the toilet button ( sorry dunno the term) to dump his pee/crap w/e

that would be the greatest thing! lol

  • flush the toilet retard

  • no i think its called pressing the toilet button to dump the piss and shit, im pretty sure

  • @RicardoLima1992 uuuh im pretty sure its called FLUSHING!!! lmao

  • @MrsHeretic lolz i sometimes forget some words (cuz i'm not enlish :s thx anyway lolol)

  • 5:38 - UR DOING IT WRUNG

    lolcat ('litter'ally)

  • cat: dammit! where's that sand!! (scratch, scratch)

    XD

  • haha "ready to g..." (peeing sound)

  • what if the cat steps on the bowl that's taped to the toilet. wouldn't that make the bowl fall in their?

  • if the litter box tips spilling the cat from any height the cat will regress

it may even start using your closet or bed as its new toilet (mine did)

  • does the cat litter is literally poops or just sand???

  • Question: What if you only have a single bathroom?

I mean, I understand you can move the liter box. But every time you go to the bathroom, you'll have to remove the tape, find a place to set the bowl, use the bathroom, put the bowl back and be sure to tape it just right....

  • if you want to train your cat you will do it :)

  • I loved when the cat tried to find some sand at the end! LMAO

  • ok dude this made me crack up but one cuestion how do u teach him to flush it cuz it actualy worked but every time i go in there i fin little cat surprizes floatin in yellow water lol do ur cats flush???

  • that cat sure needs a newspaper...

  • I find this quite... I dunno, sad? Watching the cat use its instincts to cover its tracks like that, when there's actually nothing there to even do it with, it seems like its brain has been muddled by the slow 'brainwashing'. I kinda like the idea of the cat sticking to its original ways...

  • at the end of this video when the cat pees i started laughing by how much pee it took out...dat was alot of pee for a cat

  • holy shit! that cat was out drinking the night before. i can't believe how long it peed!

  • youtube is useful in so many ways...

  • wont the bathroom stink

  • Just watching you raise the kitty litter higher and higher makes me want to laugh! Haha... Things people do now a days! Haha...

  • I trained both my cats to use the toilet in one weekend using the guide at:

    squidoo(DOT)com/howtotoilettrainyourcat

  • i'm doing this right now, im on the step where the litter box is sitting on the toilet, this is the smartest idea everr (:

  • wow thx a bunch im thinking about getting a cat but i didnt want to always be cleaning the litterbox. so toilet training would be perfect. where did u learn how to do that?

  • It's been a popular idea for a while, if this doesn't work you can get an automated litter box if you life o.O

  • Thank you! So many of these videos have no instructions just people showing their cats pooping on the toilet. ?? Not helpful at all, but your really was. I guess you need a second toilet for this process? I was hoping we could do it in our one toilet suite, but looks tricky with the timelines, etc.

  • amazing

  • so effin cute!

  • I'll never forget when I was doing some carpenter work in a house and a cat trotted out of the bathroom after doing that. The owner said there was a way to train them to flush and it looked like this cat was about to flush it.

  • How do you train the cat not to put their feet in the bowl, and just perch on the seat?

  • lmao thats awesome and it scratches mid air too, i have to get my cats to do that

  • lol

  • wow your cat pee's a long time lol

  • And the very first step is to get a personal toilet for a cat.

  • Hahahaha, yeah.

  • sorta like a toddler toilet for potty training

  • very cool! now we just need to teach them how to flush

  • I hope he didn't use that bowl for food, or give it to someone YUCK

  • i would do that if i had 2 bathrooms..

  • thanks for posting this! what age should the cat be at. is my 8 weeks old cat to young and is my 5 year old cat to old?

  • @MaxandAlissaShow no cat is too old...however...it is best that your kitten be trained to the pan first...its recommended that you start with toilet training around 3mos

  • Ahahahaha Thanks! Now ho do I teach him to flash?

  • haha kind of creepy to zoom in on the pee but it was funny when she made the burring motions.

  • The funiest part of the viideo is when he/she rub the toilet cover haha so cute !
