Those don't work if you have a larger cat. My cat fell through. He is not fat just very long and tall. I used this method and it worked fine because I had 2 bathrooms, which made it easier.

I'll never forget when I was doing some carpenter work in a house and a cat trotted out of the bathroom after doing that. The owner said there was a way to train them to flush and it looked like this cat was about to flush it.

Question: What if you only have a single bathroom?
I mean, I understand you can move the liter box. But every time you go to the bathroom, you'll have to remove the tape, find a place to set the bowl, use the bathroom, put the bowl back and be sure to tape it just right....

I find this quite... I dunno, sad? Watching the cat use its instincts to cover its tracks like that, when there's actually nothing there to even do it with, it seems like its brain has been muddled by the slow 'brainwashing'. I kinda like the idea of the cat sticking to its original ways...

Thank you! So many of these videos have no instructions just people showing their cats pooping on the toilet. ?? Not helpful at all, but your really was. I guess you need a second toilet for this process? I was hoping we could do it in our one toilet suite, but looks tricky with the timelines, etc.

I'll never forget when I was doing some carpenter work in a house and a cat trotted out of the bathroom after doing that. The owner said there was a way to train them to flush and it looked like this cat was about to flush it.

@MaxandAlissaShow no cat is too old...however...it is best that your kitten be trained to the pan first...its recommended that you start with toilet training around 3mos
