I've got one of these he was having problems with cutting out cause the clutch spring had broke happens every three to four tanks the end of the spring snaps off needs the upgrade 3 shoe clutch. Good fun car just has to be upgraded alot.

@RcFreak408 either your throttle linkage isnt set up properly or you need to adjust the idle speed (sometimes called the throttle stop) screw. the idle speed screw is on the carburettor; look in your manual to find out exactly where. as a rule of thumb, if you take the air filter off and look into the carb, the hole should stay about 1mm open when its idling and when its braking. dont take the air filter off whilst its running though :)

@MuscledReaper kind of, its hard to get sand out of your car, and salt water is highly corrosive. its kind of risk/reward, it might be a little easyer to use compressed air to clean out the sand and water, but you must have good maintance for your car for beach time.

It is not the smart to run the truck on the beach very much, because the sand gets in all the crevices and and the salt in the air is not good for it.

You dont need the extra filter though. I run mine at the beach all the time. No damage.

My truck has many hours on it now and it it very fickle. It will sometimes shut off when hitting the brakes... Needs a motor i think....
