@Danthious Very true. I think his point is that as long as the topics of the songs aren't blasphemous, he doesn't mind those bands :P There are a great number of bands that never talk about God, but don't bag on Him either. These would most likely be the bands he is okay with, regardless of whether or not he listens to them. However, if you really want to be technical, Titus 2:11-12 and 1 John 2:15 seem to suggest that loving rock music is wrong since it is of the world. Including this band.

@Xallia621 yeah...so long as you don't mix rock music with that of music that you honestly believe gives glory to God. Nothing wrong with Christian metal or Christian rock, so long as it gives glory to God.

@Danthious A lot of people seem to have a problem with rock or metal, even if it's Christian, for the simple fact that they view anything as secular if it's not a hymn or something. Personally, I feel like it only becomes a problem for those who are weak enough to let the music influence them, thus, if you are strong in your faith, something as simple as music shouldn't hinder that. I wish more bands would give their glory to God, but I suppose fame is more important to the majority :/

I may not be Christian, but Demon Hunter is still great as a band. I can't find a song I hate, and while I may not appreciate the heavy Christian motifs, I can still listen to them. (Don't really know if I can say the same for Christians with Atheistic bands and lyrics though.):P

Demon Hunter is the best band i have found. There are other good bands i like like valley of Chrome, but they seem to nearly always miss something. Demon hunter does not miss anything! :DDDDD

Demon Hunter is the some of the best stuff ive listen to so far this year if you can respond maturely to my post about that message me its been an issue on other videos

Believe it or not, I've been on some videos warning against "the dangers of Christian rock" and when I try to defend bands like Demon Hunter, they tell me I'm listening to "false" Christian music. What they don't understand is that if it weren't for bands like Demon Hunter, I probably wouldn't be a Christian today. If they would just read the lyrics, they would see how good these bands are.

@TheMetalheadGoblin I understand what you mean. I'm new to metal, but I'm also working to be a fantasy novelist. It won't be the kind that most Christian publishers would, and I've been told that no fantasy can be Christian, even though my entire purpose is to reveal the evil in order to combat it.

They quote the verses about light not mixing with darkness, but forget that it's about our souls. Our battle is against the darkness, and I see bands like Demon Hunter fighting that war.
