  • probably one of the sexiest shotguns imo! JURRASIC PARK FTW!

  • SAN ANDREAS

  • What a hunk of shit....gimme a Moss 500SP any day

  • @Buffalo How is it a "hunk of shit"??

  • @Saigax12 well lets start with the obvious... WAY TOO MANY complicated features and safety's, then the not so obvious...it weighs as much as a MACK truck.

  • @BuffaloTPU In fairness to you, the safety does fail from time to time (although truth be told, I've never fired a spas 12).

Features......being a pump and semi auto brings a lot of possibilities to the table. I was told it was to cycle high brass in semi config, and non-lethal rounds in pump. also, the more features, the heavier it tends to be. Take it from a guy that carries with 30 shells in the magazine.

If it was as useful as your mossy, Id guess we'd see more around.

  • @Saigax12 I tip my hat to you sir.

  • I had one in the 80s great gun with an intimadation factor of 10. I'd like to have another but I've heard they require replacement of the old plastic buffers that have gone bad with age. Have you heard of this?

  • How do you get ahold of all of these guns?

  • @XXaPlankOfWoodXX

    we use our hands

  • @GunWebsites ha. ha. ha.

  • alright u call of duty fans notice how its not called a spaz 12

  • @mstrchfh As a firearm enthusiast (and also a weekend gamer), i dont recall it ever being called that.

  • I REALLY wish they came out with this for a saiga. Russian engineering meets Italian styling. Nice.

  • mhhh hübsches ding mit 12 fachem Spas(s)faktor :-)

Boah hab ich jetz ne lust auf Opferjagd.

  • Make another vid of u shooting it :)

  • If you take off the hook... you shoud be able to use the hole as a sight..

  • better be careful that Sandy Ravage doesn't steal that from you

  • What year did they produce?

  • @Saigax12 1979-2000

  • Special Purpose Atomatic Shotgun is what "spas" stands for

  • @muddyelam2 The one in black ops is the same, the stock is just folded

  • @TheyxSeexMexTrollin

    you are wrong

  • @TheyxSeexMexTrollin Where did you hear that this was classified as an NFA weapon? And why? (What qualifies it as a DD is what I'm wondering)

  • @Doctorchops

they are NOT classified as DD..

  • @GunWebsites and the fact the game is based in the 60's, and the spas wasn't thought of till 1979 i believe.

  • That's is such a nice shotgun. It looks so cool when the stock is not deployed. Also, I know these are really hard to find but why are they so rare? And are they legal in California.

  • @GunWebsites its garbage in black ops

  • @GunWebsites sadly in little old united kingdom were not allowed guns

  • @GunWebsites no, becouse in Black ops the stock is folded in

  • I have two questions. #1 Can you own one of theese at 18? And #3 Can it hold a lower guage ammo then twelve?

  • How much can you get one for

  • sandy ravage approves !

  • Is there a purpose behind the Spas-12 having the ability to switch between semi-automatic and pump action? Would it just be because of the shooters preference?

  • @esl21 Some shells don't have enough energy behind them to cycle a semi-auto. So in that cause you would use it in pump configuration.

  • Arnt these illegal in the states or wats the details

  • @GunWebsites However I learned That Mr. SPAS is illegal to own in California and Connecticut. But tell me, can I rent and shoot a SPAS at that Firing Range there in Arizona? Or do know another place where I can do said renting and shooting?

  • @MrClayster98 It's not illegal in the states, it's just INCREDIBLY rare. Franchi ceased production in the 80's.

  • @pyroguy7438 thanks for the info

  • @MrClayster98

No they are not. This model is a pre ban model that was grandfathered in under the the first AWB. Pre ban model command big dollars but they can be had.

  • @MrClayster98 just saw one at a pawn shop in my town. $1200

  • I respect your choice in firearms, and this is obviously a fine weapon. Its a shame they were reclassified. Its probably the media attention that brought it up, no?

Oh well. We all got our own theories.

Its a nice shotgun. Saiga 12 is pretty sweet too

  • great review

  • 90% of viewers have only fired this weapon on COD... pitty.

  • @ortausti Yes tis quite a shame.

  • hell yeah ! my favourite shotgun :X

  • semi is not better than pump pump is more reliable if u have semi u mite go trigger crazy

  • what is that hook for??

  • its not just simi automatic its also full auto but in 86 you could only get it in simi and pump but now you cant get a new one thanks to Bill Cliton

  • I hate living in canada. Every well known firearm is banned (ak's, Spas 12, UZI, etc)

  • @WonderfulDenmark same as australia T__T even lasers are illegal

  • What is the point of having it manual?

  • This is a good gun but whats the point of having a pump mode a a semi auto mode when semi auto is better than pump

  • @ZAMZUREZ shotting lighter loads like bean bags or if the semi auto function is inpared

  • @ZAMZUREZ

For ammunition types without enough power to cycle the mechanism.

  • LIMITED GUN LAWS PETITION: Everyone please google "Repeal the prohibition in the FOPA to own automatic firearms produced after 1986 (Firearms Owners' Protection Act) petition" and "Push Congress to repeal the Hughes amendment to the FOPA and NFA petition" and sign them if you want to have an illegally forced law that did not pass - removed! (1/3rd voted yes to have these guns banned in 1986, 2/3rds voted no, and it still passed).

  • I waited the whole video for him to shoot it. I guess I'll go another.

  • @TheAwsumSammich

OMG you watched for almost 3 mins?? watch it again, I bet we shoot it the second time through

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAwsumSammich I know! I kept waiting for him to load the three shells that were next to it the entire video, but it never came.

  • hi

  • my uncle used to have one before the gun laws changed in Australia it is a very very fun gun to use it really is and i miss it :(

  • lol happy I started cod at 13 (It's 13+ here anyway)

  • @Fabio199810 Keep that shit out of here.

  • @Fabio199810 you like fish?

  • @Anacondas101

    yeah

  • the point in pump action is if you happen to be running bean bag rounds or other less lethal rounds and the dont have the power to cycle a new round consistantly

  • My mate bought one of these brand new when they came out.

We went to a local farm and loaded up with three inch magnum, set to auto BABOOM, BABOOM.

The poor farmer nearly had a heart attack.

  • the shotgun has more negatives than positive

  • Comment removed

  • @XxmuncsterxX

    "always" ??

hardly.. 3000+ videos, hundreds of comments per day.. you haven't read many at all if you say "always"..

now quit defending trolls, and enjoy the vids, or get butt hurt and leave

  • what is point of pump action if you can use it as semi?

  • @lukuntri Some shotgun loads dont cycle well in sem-auto.

  • @lukuntri Some rounds don't have enough power to cycle semi auto shotguns. The pump action gives you more ammo choices.

  • @lukuntri for special smoke and flare rounds etc

  • @lukuntri is for non lethal cartridges that cannot auto-reload the gun

  • @lukuntri The Semi mode is only for high powered rounds. You cant use standard buck shot in semi.

  • SPAS 12 stands for, 'Special Purpose Assault Shotgun 12'

  • @EdgeGaming2000

    are you sure it ain't

    "Some People Are Stupid" ??

  • @GunWebsites

    Some

    People

    Are

    Stupid

    12 year olds

  • @mechagodzilla290

    LOL, nice

  • @GunWebsites is it Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun? Is that what it stands for?

  • @GunWebsites y are youre comments so witty

  • @EdgeGaming2000 actually according to franchi manual it is a

    "sporting purpose automatic shotgun"

  • Okay, so I'm not sure I quite understand. How does someone, in the United States, who is a civilian get a Spas-12?

  • @somedirtyangel

you buy it.. you think there is some law against them?

  • @GunWebsites No, I don't think there is a law against them. I've heard little about them and buying one for that matter. I've heard people say "you need proper papers". Things along those lines. So what you are saying is, you can just buy one? Just like that, walk into the gun store, see one sitting there, walk out. Just like any other shotgun?

  • @somedirtyangel

yes, it just like any other shotgun

  • Made in ITALY.

  • that's a combat shot gun

  • Why does everyone have to be such a fucking prick? haha seriously.

  • spasghetti

  • from Half-Life 2 :)

  • its spaz not spas

  • @TheDarkshadow427 You play to much call of duty little kid.

  • good thing you shot it.

  • thubs up if u didn't reconize the spas untill he put the stock up

  • How much should one of these go for? I also heard they were banned in the US.

  • @weiss27md you cant import them, if you find one in the US you can buy it with proper licenses

  • It isn't "collapsible", it's folding, isn't it? Collapsing is when it retracts into itself like a police baton, right?

  • @RhetoricalFilms9792

What you're describing is known as a telescopic stock more specifically.

  • dear santa....

  • Every time i see these I get the urge to watch Jurassic Park...clever girl....

  • they were not banned, the imports were banned in 1986 theyve become hard to find cause there more of a collectors item now. i seen one last week at the local gun shop going for $1000.00 .

  • @hemipowered305

    Only 1 thousand?!?!

BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT

  • "Clever girl"

  • @ChunkyGaming that's what comes to mind every time i see one of these.

  • thumbs up if you got this from black ops!

  • @mikeandwillstudios Suck a cock cod fag.

  • @mikeandwillstudios

For a gun that did not exist in the 60s you ass.

  • why cant I get my hands on one of these? I seriously thought they were banned.

  • @Ozone4725

    no guns are 'banned' ...

  • @GunWebsites well, illegal haha

  • @Ozone4725

    yer dumb

  • @GunWebsites as are you. I mean you cant explain why no one can get these guns anymore. Everyone is saying they are banned, and it seems like not that many people can get a hold of these. It sure does seem like they are banned or just not making them anymore or something. So yes I am dumb. But I just want a simple explanation why people cant really get a Spas 12. It sure seems like they are banned.

  • @Ozone4725

They stopped making them in the fucking 1980s

Obviously its going to be a LITTLE hard to get a gun that hasn't been produced for TWENTY GOD DANG YEARS.

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... You're* Thank you Very much :)

  • @Ozone4725 production stopped in '05 if im remembering correctly

  • @GunWebsites man in california we cant have anything like this

  • @Ozone4725

Individual guns aren't really banned. Guns are mostly banned because of their features. Features like pistol grips, folding stocks, and high cap magazines.

  • @Delta094204 That makes pretty good sense. Thank you for the explanation. :)

  • @Ozone4725 You can't get your hands on one because they're one, rare as shit, and two, too pricey for your bubble gum allowance.

  • @GunWebsites then explain, because it is not legal to own or purchase fully auto weapons.

  • @zander1116

    It's not automatic you silly.

  • @AuxKipchak i know but he said he said no guns are banned..... and some are.... fully auto weapons are considered weapons of mass destruction and are illegal to buy as an american citizen

  • @zander1116

Actually you can legally purchase an automatic weapon, thompsons for example are purchasable as automatic weapons. The restrictions are that the weapon has to be registered as class 3 and have been made before 1984.

It's also quite expensive, but it's legal, along with suppressors. Check out the wikipedia article for the "National Firearms Act"

  • @AuxKipchak hey man you learn something new everyday... but just for the future.. wikipedia isnt exactly a very reliable resource

  • @Ozone4725 Franchi stopped manufacturing them in about the late 80s or early 90s im not sure which.

  • @Ozone4725 just realy rare and expensive, no much use in the sporting market

  • @Ozone4725 you can always visit russia haha

  • I thought these were recently banned in the U.S.

  • @GunWebsites hey what kind of lisencing (if any) would i need to get this shot gun. or should i stick with the m1014?

  • @xXShadowAssasinXx his video was in 2009. You welcome.

  • @xXShadowAssasinXx Wikipedia says its banned. However, only for import. The existing us ones are still available. rising in price gradually, tho.

  • Half-Life :B

  • i though they were illegal in the U.S?

  • @XeroXposureX They were banned from import if I'm not mistaken. There's some of them floating around out there though.

  • @OceanicLyfe I was being sarcastic, as that's why this video has so many views.

  • @watertower7 I couldn't tell, as the only word you said was COD.

  • @OceanicLyfe Yeah sorry, I just hate CoD fags.

  • @GunWebsites How much did you pay for that beauty? And can you just buy that one or is it a police gun only?

  • @Korvan1993

    no guns are "police only"

  • @GunWebsites actually in my local store yesterday one came in on consignment it was like new a really sweet gun

  • @GunWebsites actually one came in on consignment at my local store this week we shot slugs out of it in the downstairs range really sweet shotgun!

  • @GunWebsites isnt the Desert Eagle a gun that only military people or sargents only can use ?

  • @2xDsxandxanxF cool because its my favourite gun

  • @GunWebsites how about a stinger missile?

  • give the pony a ride

  • COD

  • where did u buy the spas?

  • @babyjew95

You would have to buy it off someone who bought it before it was Illegal to import. It would be cheaper to just buy a Bellini. Huge collectors value.

  • let us see it but don't shoot it.... nice order there :D

  • Whats the benefit of having it pump?

  • @AJpoopmonster So you can shoot specialty loads that don't have enough power to cycle the semi auto function.

    Still a gimmick imo.

  • This weapon was used in the movie Dawn of the dead. Anyone noticed that?

  • What is the hook for?

  • It looks really practical.. utilitarian. I kind of want one now.

  • what is the point of the hook? seems more like a nuisance

  • Gr8 gun ! ;)

  • hmm.. saw Terminator way too long ago to remember. but i vaguely remember him shooting a semi-auto shotgun backwards in T2 when he & John were chased on a bike by a truck. not sure if that was a spas12 or not. but i sure as hell clearly remember that exact unique looking stock being pulled into place in Jurassic Park by Mr. Muldoon. find it here on yt. look for "Clever Girl Scene - Jurassic Park Movie (1993) - HD" :)

  • @LordVeldrin No, it wasn't a semi-auto shotgun. It was the lever-action Model 1887.

  • @kevinrocks2323 my bad. was way too long ago. :)

  • @LordVeldrin The first Terminator not the second .

  • @mwillblade i know. i heard. but i didn't see the first as many times as the second. and both were a great long time ago as a kid. so as i said, i only vaguely remembered a shotgun being shot in the second movie.
