2) why does the drummer sing alot more on the album version, but live the lead singer does it all ??

2) My guess would be that the other singer, Jason, left the band, so the drummer, Jake, just fills in now. The music video was recorded after Jason left so Jake had to lip sync.

@keeble07 the album version was recorded when jason was still in the band, and he sang about half of the song. he left before they made the music video, so the drummer, jake, had to lip sync. since jake isn't nearly as good of a singer, they have derek sing as much as possible when performing the song now
