anyone know why in the live album Loue Reed&The Velvet Underground,on the 2disc the lyrics of this song are different especially at the start of the song?
@mattia712 That live album was recorded about 6-7 months before Loaded was recorded. I guess Reed felt he could improve the song by rewriting parts of it, and letting Doug Yule sing it.

My favorite bands are Nazareth, Wasp, Judas Priest, The Who, Velvet Underground, Grateful Dead. I also love the bands Cinderella,Megadeth,Iron Maiden, Deep purple,Uriah Heep,Budgie,Atomic Rooster,Lucifer's Friend ETC.The Velvets are a psycedellic rock band. Listen to the songs Heroin, Sunday Morning, Pale Blue Eyes...ETC....

If somebody told me that this was George Harrison singing, I might have believed them. Haha! Ugh, I kinda wish this was George on lead or at least him singing background rather than Doug Yule. It doesn't matter. This song was well done the way it is. A perfect fusion of the Beatles' "Lovely Rita" and the Monkees' "Porpoise Song" with a side of George's voice is much appreciated. Thank you, Lou. =)
