I work to reconcile because in the end reality is One - with many aspects and viewpoints, but One. For there must be a common ground that enables the various things to relate (even disagreement is a form of relation). I use capitals to to give ACCCENT where I wish. I don't need Tolle, yet find him very helpful. And considering your mean tone... I suggest you consider realizing that what you sent out to me speaks volumes of what you say to yourself.

Words have meaning, they convey truth or error. Tolles' words are error. God has created us, we sin, God must punish sin because He is good, holy, just. There is one way to have forgiveness of all of those sins you commit. Through Christ alone.

You like all people have sinned, that's your nature. You need forgiveness of sins, you need redemption. God made one way to have that redeption, through His Son, God incarnate, Jesus Christ. Jesus siad He is the way, the truth, the life, no one comes to the Father but through Him. That means all other beliefs or religions are false.

@joeforHistruth The real message of the bible have been distorted thru time and when u talk about "Jesus is the way, and no one comes to the father but through Him" its' exactly what Tolle describes in his videos. You can't sit on ur ass and just pretend, that won't get u anywhere. It's hard work and mental dicipline that will do the job. The "faith" thing is just that if u work hard it will eventually bear fruit, nothing else. There is no mystical shortcut in this just hard work.

I understand his point. But then there's the concepts of cause & effect. If what Mr. Tolle suggests here is absolutely true, then I'd have to accept that cause & effect are also "preordained". I wish I had an argument for that, but, frustratingly, I do not know. It does cause me concern and caution not to "buy" the idea that it doesn't matter what I do because "i have nothing to say about what I do - I'm just a puppet". NO - "I" and "i" am responsible for my actions.
