When I hear newfies talk kind resembles the southern American draw or possibly how it started as the Difference with the southern American talk and newfie well it's American lol
Yis b'y....they let me keep one lighter in a baggie...and then they found another one in my laptop bag...they took dat one a chucked er in the garbage...some stunned!!
Oh my God!! I love this. Listening to this conversation just makes me want to get back home even faster. My GOD! I love Newfoundland. And everyone in it.
MAn is that Row Flgiht? ahaha, he was here this summer with my aunt pam, im Keith Olfords son, he seen the video and knows the other feller to but he dont remember his name aha
omg, thats a classic newfoundland evening, sitting in the kitchen, talkin with ur friends and family and enjoyin a nice cup of tetley tea:), ill never grow tired of it.
And the Irish would not "shoot" me for that. My girlfriend is from Tipperary and her cousin lives in Cork, and i told them that they had a similar accent to newfoundland.
I live in England and look at how many accents there are here.
Yeah many Irishmen settled in Newfoundland, and because of its years of isolation they developed their own way of speaking. I love the Newfoundlanders, very friendly people!
I'm a newfie

You think two people from the same country can't have differing accents?
Good god. Actually go to Ireland, they'll shoot you for that opinion, right after they make fun of a Cork accent.

Ok people ease up. It was a joke what i said.
Why are people so easily offended?
