I bought my first banjer about 10 months ago after obsessively watching your videos on youtube. I learned how to play clawhammer from watching you. I felt like i should say thanks.
Well thank you very much, that's a real nice thing to say. Just curious-are there any particular banjo players you like? Maybe some i haven't heard. As far as banjo pickers go, I've been listening to Gus Cannon, Dock Bogs and Clarence Ashley.
i love this song,, it has a story to go along with it,,,and i can relate to this story,,she lived across town basicly and i would FLYY in my beater s-10 home from late night rendezvous with her,,after the parents would fall asleep ,and i could sneak out undetected, and the other great thing,is i actually timed my trips home from her house on these bumpy old dirt roads,, 11 minutes,i'd like to partially thank my driving instructors "the dukes of hazard" for showing me how to drive.cheers.
@siTTinLo420 Cool.. I didn't have the "Dukes of Hazard" brothers to learn from. They hadn't been born yet. I had to learn from local moon shiners and my older brother and his hot rod buddies who used to bait the cops then out run them on those Southern snake back roads.. .. hahahaha.. Thanks.
I'll bet I have watched this video 20 times in the last couple of nights. I love the sound of your banjo and the way you play. Good stuff.........

@curtistembeck I don't know. I don't listen to a lot of popular music, so I don't really know much about what's out there..

Great tyune, my old Mopar was a 2dr 68 Polara.
Broke the frame in half when I accidently jumped a curb at 80+ trying to get home from my girlfriends house on time :).

Ha ha ha.. Luckily I never had an incident, but I'm probably pretty lucky, 'cause I drove like a fury in those days.... Still got the memory..
