While the model is nice, it looks fragile as a pile of egg shells. I wonder if any model making company has considered making *STRONGER* Vf-25s for kids to play with. The plastic and the joints common to most models make pretty to look at- but not to touch. For my family, a pretty model wouldn't last an hour...

@WarhawkLegend69 Happy new year, all is good. So far all I've seen are the promo. images and it looks like the same VF-25g but with the Tornado pack instead of the FAST pack. But plan to pick it up.

Not sure about more releases, think a bit of the Frontier buzz is dieing down. There's a new DX YF-29 in the works from Bandai, that could be the "big" release for the movie. Other then that haven't heard of any other releases.

Hi, I would be pleased if you could post a video about how to remove the fast pack of the model without scratching the paint, because from what i can see the chest armor is the most firmly attached accessory. Also please tell us how to remove the stand clip for battroid pose because I tried once and was not so easy

I agree with all the VF 25 is among the more handsome valks by Macross...TADASHII !!!!(however)...the cost to purchase this chogokin (S$280) makes me very intolerant of the issues I hear (most of it is the limitations in articulation with the super pack) and see here ... BTW Is it me or are the VF25's wings all warping upwards?

Yes, on the 1/60s they do. But if the original design is that way I couldn't tell you.

I do love the Sniper characters and I really want this figure, though the price is a huge deterrent. For my VF-25F, I have a huge problem with the paint apps scratching. Is this a huge problem? Or am I just handling mine wrongly?

No, the paint does scratch off a little too easily for my liking. The chest paint on my VF-25F has a small scratch from when I rushed a transformation but other then that I'm OK.

This is the action model but there are kit versions of all the VF-25 in the 1/72 scale.

Althought i'm not one for macross i can't help but appraciate the design that goes into these things. It helps that the skywarpy colour scheme looks shweEeEeEeEet So many intricate parts...definately not toys...The stand in jet mode looks a bit...wobbly though. I would have thought casting it in clear plastic would have been preferable...no? its been so long since i did a flier model but stands were usually clear.

Is the Macross Action Base compatible with the VF-25 DX?

The 1/72 scale Action Base isn't designed for the 1/60 scales. There's a massive difference in the overall weight of the two figure types.

Cheers, yeah. It's the same with Yamato, the bases supplied are functional but that's it. If you want one to look cool you have to spend extra cash, which is a bit of a pain.
