Amazing amazing movie. I was very spectacle at first, but it was truly a beautiful amazing movie and also very true the real world. Then ending was not what I expected, but you know it does happen in life. It really shows how people can be. Truly amazing.

Fair enough. Marketa's accent is a mix of Irish and Czech. Her 'mother's' is Czech and everyone else has a genuine Dublin accent.

Maybe you were used to stage Irish. It is often heard in American movies and plays when they try to put on an Irish accent but it pretty well always misses. Meryl Streep did a great Donegal accent but she's a legend.

Ireland has a host of accents even though it is a relatively small country. Even in Dublin there are great variations.

This movie totally touched me. It made me sad at times, but just because it was so realistic. It was real, it wasn't fake, like so many movies nowadays are. I really enjoyed it because of that. It also hits really close to home because I'm going through the same thing with a friend. It's absolutely a wonderful, phenomenal movie, and quickly becoming one of my favorites. I watched it for the first time two days ago and I've already seen it 6 times now. lol. LOVE this movie! :]

Maybe one, if not the, best piece of art I've seen.

Brilliant music that just fits every second, beautiful pictures and charismatic characters as well as actors, and, to me, shows that the right person sometimes doesn't have to be the person you spend your whole lifetime with, but accidentally helps you out to fix your life, instead of changing it.

Watched it with a girlfriend last week and it somehow helped us to be even more sincere and open with each other. One day I'll show it to my kids...
