First off thank you for your time posting this... I have a question, I added a new forend and everything went fine (I purchased my 500a in 1995) for some reason the elevator works fine until I install the barrel then the elevator blocks the ejection port and does not function. Do you have any idea why this is happening? Thank you in advance for any advice....
I live in California and pay outrageous prices for my firearms. The laws around here are so strict that we can't even stick out our forefingers and cock our thumbs back and yell, "BANG!" without being required to have a permit.
Great video on how to field strip and put back together. Great for people that are just wanting to learn how to clean the gun really well. Also, I was wondering if you might know this. To remove the Trigger assembly, does the butt stock/pistol grip have to be removed first?
This helped a lot. Mine came apart more than i meant it to and i wasnt paying attention and couldn't get it back together, but now I got it, thanks :). Now, to get the original stock off it says to take off buttpad, then unscrew the bolt counterclockwise... it wont budge and now I'v all but stripped it. any suggestions anyone?

Can anyone give me tips on an easy way to get the adapter tube screws off the sides of the pistol grip? it seems stuck and I don't want to push it too hard and compromise it.
This guy is the first that I have seen that really knows something about his weapon. Others I have watched had better shots but they didn't know the proper terms for the gun parts, like this guy does. Just got a cousin to this gun 835 where the previous owner broke the trigger assembly and upon replacing it, lost the cartridge stop and cartridge interrupter.

i got it fixed not long afterwards but it ejects the round out the bottom insted of loading it if you pump it fast enough so kinda confused

@eagerbeaver53 check all the pins on the trigger. if one of them is sticking out a little bit it will affect it for some reason.

@tacticoolness The mag spring? You need to remove the magazine tube to replace the spring. It unscrews from the receiver..
